Hey,

I am looking at going to Dl for my birthday in mid Feb. What is the weather ususally like, and am looking for info on backpacker/low budjet accomodation for DL and information on transport, (how much, how long etc) to Universal, Hollywood etc from there. Is it better to find a cheap place in Hollywood for a few days and do thatthen commute from DL?

Any info would be great

Dinsey has 2 parks in Anaheim now; DL and CA. I recommend staying at least one night (and preferably 2) so that you can see both of them without having to make a HORRIBLE morning rush-hour drive. And I live in Southern California.

CA has less attractions than DL., so if you can only stay in Anaheim one night, leave Hollywood at 8:30 a.m. and spend a short day at CA, leaving DL for the next, longer day.

If you can't afford to stay at a Disney Resort, there are all sorts of hotels (with family suites at reasonable prices) in the area. Make sure it's within walking distance of the entrance or offers free transportation to the parks.
