(I hope I am doing this right. I am a little nervous since this is my first trip report. So bare with me and enjoy some adventureness)
Last time my family and I went to disneyland was in May of 2013. While we were there we found out our second child was to be a girl! Kai was two years old and was just a smidge to short to ride Radiator Springs. Now he is taller than 40in and can ride many more rides.
The crew:
Me: This will be my fourth trip to disneyland. I am the planner of all trips and it's my job to make sure the trip goes smoothly. (For the most part) Favorite Disney movie: The Little Mermaid and Up!
Favorite disney ride: Splash Mountain
Ryan: (my husband of over 5 years.) This will be our second disneyland trip together and our third disney trip together. (Unless you count Aulani This would be our fourth)
Favorite Disney Movie: The Lion King
Favorite Disney ride: Splash Mountain
Kai: (my four year old son.) This will be his second disneyland trip. He has also been to Disney World when he was 8 months old and to Aulani when he was 20 months old.
Favorite Disney Movie: Toy Story
Favorite Disney Ride: Buzz Lightyear
Adalie: (my daughter who is one years old.) This will be Adalie's first trip to Disney unless you count the time she was in my tummy in 2013. Last time we were in Disneyland Ryan and I opened up an envelope revealing we were going to be having a little girl. I am so thankful that we had a CM take those very exciting pictures for us.
This is my first trip report so please bare with me as I try and figure all this out.
The itinerary: We leave May 8th! We will be driving approximately 3.5 hours to our grandparents house near Seattle. On our way their I plan on stopping by Target to get some fun things for our trip. I love the dollar section at Target! We will spend the night and wake up early for our morning flight. This will only be a travel day since I don't want to waste precious time at the park traveling. I learned the hard way with past trips. May 10th will be our first day in Disneyland! May 11th is California Adventures! May 12th is a rest day/pool day! May 13th last day in both parks so make this day count! And May 14th time to go home.
May 8th- Travel to relatives house
May 9th- Fly down to California
May 10th- Disneyland
May 11th-California Adventures
May 12th- Rest day/pool day
May 13th-Disneyland
May 14th-Time to go home
My husband is in the military so we will be getting the three day park hopper and staying at the Disneyland Hotel! I am excited to stay here since this will be my first time saying there. The last time we went to disneyland we stayed at the Grand Californian and it was amazing! Our rooms overlooked Goofys sky school. It was fun to see all the family's having fun and enjoying their time in the parks.
The other part of our crew:
My husbands sister and brother-in-law will be joining us along with their son Caleb. Kai and Caleb are about the same age so it will be fun seeing their reaction to everything. Also, My husbands mom is joining us just for the weekend. And my mom and some of my siblings might be joining as well.
