Disneyland in March

My wife and I are taking a trip in March to DL and we are wondering if anyone had any experiences during this time, any input is greatly appreciated.

Went third week of March 2005. Just happened to be the week prior to Easter and during Spring Break. It was very crowded then. The earlier in March you go the better, that way you avoid much of the Spring Break crowds. In 2007, Easter is not until early April, but Spring Break dates vary from Mid March to mid April. Avoid weekends as the crowd levels really rise. I say go in early March.

we went this year in March 11-17 and the first day went went it was raining early in the am and hardly no one was there...but then it cleared up and didnt even rain the rest of our trip and it was very crowded...even in CA...when we were in CA in the am it was ok but by mid afternoon it was up there...no where near as bad as DL but still and the funny thing was that even up till park closing there was tons of people

Spring break in public schools, colleges, and unviersities in CA is not related to Easter - any coincidences (?Sp) is just that. We don't have a "spring break" week here that is the same for everyone.

Catholic schools are generally off the week after Easter. Some other Christian schools are off before. Jewish and other schools are off at other times - sometimes related to holidays - sometimes not.
