We're probably changing our WDW trip to a DLR trip, because we can drive to DLR but would have to fly to WDW. I haven't been to DLR since I was 19 and that was just a day trip. Are there themed resorts like at WDW? Where do you stay when you go to DLR?

There are three resort hotels at DLR - the Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel, and Paradise Pier. And there are a bunch of decent "good neighbor" hotels.

Check the links in this thread for more info:

Also to get "caught up" on DLR and how it compares to WDW today this might help:

They don't really have themed resorts like at WDW. The also don't have the value, moderate, deluxe. At WDW you can stay on site for as cheap at $82 a night. At Disneyland the three on site hotels are all pretty much in the deluxe category.

Luckily, there are a bunch of off site hotels near Disneyland that are more in the value and moderate price range. And they are within walking distance to the parks.
