Personally I would say it depends on what you are looking for. For us, it was not worth it.
One year we stayed there, one year we stayed across Harbor. I felt like the walk to Harbor was closer. I thought the monorail would be great but we waited for it so long every time and we were never near Tommorrowland. I felt like it was faster and more convenient to take the train to Main Street and walk across Harbor to the offsite hotel.
The views, grounds, lobby, restaurants and pools are great but those just aren't things we need to be that great. We are happy with a standard pool, but our kids are little. I felt the room was really pedestrian and small and the service was not what I thought it would be. We didn't get any of the little extras even though we left tips, no towel animals, no chocolates with turndown. I even called ahead of time and asked for balloons and a signed picture and we never did get them even though I asked again when we checked in.
Anywhere you stay it will be fun!
