disneyland hotel concierge service

we are going to disneyland for our family vacation and are staying at the dl hotel, we have upgraded to the concierge service and am wondering, what the concierge service details in all?? this is a first time service for me and i don't know what to expcet or do with it? Also has anyone else stayed at the suite int the dl hotel? what special things do they do? we are celebrating the finalization of our children's adoptions and want to have a very memoriable experience..any advice would be deeply appreciated..

Congratulations on your adoption!

I've never done the concierge at DL hotel. But I have at Grand Californian a couple times. Basically, I can't say I used all the services available since both stays were just extended weekends and we live fairly close to Disneyland. But they had a continental breakfast buffet in the mornings. Light snacks were available during the day. I never went in at dinner, so I don't know what they do for Dinner. They also had cookies and storytelling for the children. I know they helped us with our park tickets and offered to make any priority seating arrangements for us as well.

Are the rooms any different? And extra perks besides food?

Well, the rooms are on the Concierge Floor. So you have to have access with your room key. But I didn't see any difference in the size of the room. We had a standard view (which was of the front of the hotel). We did have robes in our room, which I have to say was nice for going down to the pool with. But again, they're not there to keep. You have to pay extra to keep them or buy a set in the hotel lobby store.
