I am sorry if this has been answered before. I was just curious if you can reserve a "standard" room at the DLH and request a room in the Adventure Tower? I know this tower would typically be a Premium view on either side, but wondering if some of the rooms on the lower floors would be considered "standard" view.

Also, for the DLH experts, which tower tends to have more of the larger rooms. About 7 years ago we stayed at DLH in what is now called the Fantasy tower (old Marina tower). The rooms were very nice, but seemed smaller than I remembered the old Bonita (now Frontierland) tower to be when I was much younger. I know the Adventure tower was the original one at DLH and it seems those rooms always look pretty big in pictures.

Anyone have a "preferred" tower. I know Frontierland is set back away from the pools a little more then the other two, but that walk wouldn't bother me.

We had a Standard room in the Adventure tower. It was on the 4th floor facing Downtown Disney. It was close to the pools, as well as DTD...but beware of noise. The band playing in DTD was loud, and played pretty late (or late for our 5 year old, anyway).

I was just coming in to say the exact thing lol.

We had a 4th floor room ( right hand side corner facing DTD ). We could see mostly trees and the tops of some buildings from memory. The band playing in DTD was pretty loud but once we drifted off to sleep it was ok.

I'll try and find a pic from the room of the view. http://s364.photobucket.com/user/totalprincess_2008/slideshow/ hopefully this works!

I've stayed there in standard view rooms on the second floor pool side and also on the downtown side but on the end farthest from the action. Both were great rooms.

STandard rooms are (I believe) 2nd-4th floor. 5th-8th are lower views, 9th-12th are upper views.

I wonder how that works if you are using DVC points. For DVC, they only have standard and premium categories.

Thanks for the pics. Gives me a good idea. That's a good view, better than having a parking lot view, but still "standard"
