Your Uber to/from LAX will eat up that savings pretty quick. Stick to SNA or Long Beach for sure.
My Disney TA told me as much as well. I will check out Long Beach!Your Uber to/from LAX will eat up that savings pretty quick. Stick to SNA or Long Beach for sure.
Definitely not worth it, you'd spend $150 on round trip Ubers and it really can be a long drive depending on time of day. SNA is only 15 minutes away and even that can be an hour in traffic (ask me how I knowI just looked and I'm bummed that SNA doesn't seem to be included, at least flying from DAL. It did appear that I could save about $150 booking in and out of LAX, but I'm not sure that would be worth it given the increase in Uber/Lyft and having to deal with LAX and more traffic. Oh well.
Nah, that can't be right....The theme is most surely "Adventure", based on the event taglines:
Yoga - A Feel-Good Adventure
5k - Heroic Adventures
Kids races - Adventure is Out There
Dumbo - Double the Adventure
etc...
I hopped in the queue with the idea of maybe buying a ticket if it worked out and when the moment to click "purchase" came, I just couldn't do it. I can't justify two extra days on this trip.So just a heads up to people going a bit before or after the race, Oogie Boogie Bash tickets went on sale today.
Got my ticket for 9/3.![]()
You can. But tbh you can end up in some not the best areas if you’re not paying attention. I’m not trying to be downtrodden about Anaheim but it’s really a mixed bag I feel like depending on which way you’re going. If you have access to a car I would suggest maybe looking up trails in Irvine because that’s a fairly good neighborhood overall.I thought this might be a good thread to ask my running-question rather than starting a new one.
When staying at one of the Disneyland hotels, is there a possibility to do some longer running workout somewhere outside instead of running on a treadmill?
I am not familiar with the surroundings, all I can see on maps is busy streets and parking lots. But maybe someone knows an option where to run
The last time I was in Disneyland I ran in the Resort district. I basically did a lap around Disneyland, DCA and the Convention Center. Basically, Harbor Blvd (east side), Orangewood Ave (south side), West Street/Disneyland Drive (west side) and Ball Road (north side). I think I also ran down Katella to add some extra distance.I thought this might be a good thread to ask my running-question rather than starting a new one.

In the past, it seems that it can be available up until race weekend. For springtime surprise this year, there were a few things left leading up to the weekend, but marathon and princess sold out quick. For marathon weekend 2025 for example, all but two pin bundles are already sold out, and I don’t see any left for this race weekend. If there’s something you really want & it’s still available, I suggest the pre-order. We saw stuff sell out super early during dumbo weekend, even during the first day of the expo.Do you know pls the latest date that pre-purchase of merch is available?
Thanks!
Having volunteered for RunDisney races in the past, your question got my curiosity up. In the past you went to a Rundisny volunteer page that had the volunteer positions and available shifts listed. Those positions were almost as hard to land as a place in the race itself. Now it appears you need to go the the RunDisney website. Scroll all the way to the end of the page where you will see a heading "Exhibitors & Volunteers". Yous then send an email to whomever. Also Track Shack has a volunteer page on its website under the "Events" heading. If you choose to pursue being a volunteer, please let us know what you find out.Is anyone signing up or heard about sign ups to work Race Weekend?
That tab is for exhibits and vendors. I ended up sending an inquiry email to rundisney. Last DLR race, I was contacted the day before to see if I was interested, but it was very unorganized as they've now switched to staffing agencies instead of volunteering via rundisney. I'm curious if they've become more organized, or why they haven't posted opportunities yet, since the race is in Sept.Having volunteered for RunDisney races in the past, your question got my curiosity up.
