Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend 2026

So I am walking my dog and listening to Rise and Run. What did I just hear? I stop, rewind the podcast. Evidently I have been living in a cave. Did I just hear them say DL Half Marathon Weekend 2026 will be the last for 5 or more years??? I had no idea…. And I have been putting off the Coast to Coast for the past few years and had no intentions of trying in 2026. Now I am considering. Considering bringing up the idea to DW - yeah, that will go well. If I survive that conversation, then I am going to give registration a try. Long shot! Good luck to all that are trying!

Looks like I will give it a try to register tomorrow, but not holding my breath. Like others, been slow playing going for the coast to coast medal. Now with the new announcement, also rushing to try to get it done. Hard part is that I have an offsite work event tomorrow 30 minutes after registration opens. So kind of thinking that I am really going to be struggling to register.

I'm now registered for Dumbo with American Cancer Society's Team DetermiNation as well! This will be my first time racing for a charity. My partner and several members of his immediate and extended family are cancer survivors so I'm honored to run for a cause close to the heart. I'll still be joining the masses tomorrow to try to get my sister in, though.

@jrsharp21 if you're still interested in getting a charity bib, you may be able to at least be waitlisted with ACS. I emailed their contact person last week, and she sent me the waitlist form. I saw A-T Children's Project also has bibs available: http://give.atcp.org/site/TR?fr_id=1520&pg=entry

What is the bare minimum info I need to register another person besides myself that needs to be correct from the start? Looks like name, race, email, birthday, gender for sure. I know other things are editable (shirt size, PoT)

Not that I expect to get lucky, but a small group of offline friends are trying to do this and I would register them (after me) if I get through.

How do I register for the 5K and Challenge races at the same time? I know it can be done, but I've never done it. Which might be necessary given how insane tomorrow could be. I'm mentally preparing myself for Dopey 2023 registration level insanity.

If I remember correctly before you finish the registration for your first selection it asks if you want to add another

You can go through the process of adding multiple races to your cart, but just remember that nothing is guaranteed until you pay and get confirmation--meaning it's possible something the 1st race sells out while you're doing the 2nd registration. So if you have stronger feelings about one of the races, and you get into the purchase page until 20-30 minutes after registration starts you may want to buy one race, then when you're done, buy the other.

So in other words, I should get the challenge which is most important, and then "try again" to get the 5K?

I added the 2024 5K a few minutes later after getting into the challenge and seeing the 5K had still not sold out. I did the same thing with Halloween.

We'll see what happens tomorrow, although I expect it to be absolutely insane. I'll be happy to get into the challenge.

Maybe if one of your browsers gets a really short wait time, go ahead and get both in the same session, trusting they won't sell out? And otherwise, prioritize the challenge?

Nervous for tomorrow! I feel like my browsers never have a short wait time! For 2024, the challenge sold out before I could get in. I’ll be happy with just the half this time!

I was able to secure my half bib during CRD registration but of course i have to do DD and DS tomorrow and ... I'm flying down to DL! I need to get to the airport early to try to join the queue right at 7 and then cross my fingers i get a quick count down. Murphy's Law.

I can be done. I do it every registration.

You should DEFINITELY go for the challenge first if that's the absolute priority. Once you've checked out and gotten the "congratulations on your registration" page, what worked for me for MW was to hit the back arrow twice and work on the next registration.

Good luck everyone. I am going to try to get in for Dumbo and if not, the half marathon. But odds are against me since I have a work event at 10:30 CST that we are leaving for at 10am. It would be nice to be able to get my C2C medal, but if I don't get in I won't be super upset.
