So here on Friday morning before the Sunday scheduled Half Marathon. Let me add, first time running at DL. Staying on Disney Way, and looking for info on time schedule of where and when things open to get to corral and start. I'm assuming that Disney Way will not be an option, so any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks so much for this! I'm in corral F, so now at the very least I'll be walking to the correct entry point. Now to set that alarm

Trying to figure out photo ops/appearances based on what's been tagged in IG so far:

- Jack Sparrow/Redd (distanced)
- Backstage photo ops included a Avengers logo, Mickey float
- Millennium Falcon
- Rey/Vi (distanced, usual spot)
- Hera (from Ahsoka)
- Star Lord/Gamora (distanced, usual spot)
- Dug
- Mickey and Minnie (may not have been a photo op, they were out cheering though)

Looks like it was a fun race!

EDIT: michaeldoesdiz has photos with Groot, Mrs. Incredible, and Carl (in same spot as Dug).

I didn't see an FF stop, but there was an Avengers logo one. Carl was out with Dug when I ran by (early).

Having only done runDisney at WDW before (mostly halfs and fulls), this was amazing - one of my favorite races.

I think you're right on this one, I couldn't see it clearly at first because the vid has a lot of runners passing definitely looks like the A logo.

The amount of fireworks was surprising that’s the most I think I’ve ever seen in the decade plus I’ve been racing on either coast

I had pre race drama. My valve stem broke last night leaving me with a flat front tire and unsure if I could be able to race. Thankfully one of the other racers had a spare tire and though at first none of us were sure it would fit we got it on and it was off to the races.

Ended up putting out one of my fastest 5ks completely by accident. No video footage because somehow, someway even though it was in and recording before I left for the start area from where we huddled. My GoPro cameras battery vanished

I will say I was a bit surprised by the amount of selfie stops. I’m thinking that they must have weighed how much time having Groot actually out on the course vs everyone else and limited the others to give more people a chance to reach him maybe?

Fun things from today:
- High fiving Groot as I exited his photo stop
- Jack Sparrow and Redd complimenting the handcycle and cheering me on up the little hill near Pirates
- Rey complimenting my speeder aka the handcycle!

Was up with what I’m pretty sure was the top 10 almost the entire race. So I had clear sailing for almost the entire 3 miles to the point I almost made a wrong turn in Batuu because I misunderstood what my bike guide was telling me

Blame that on the less than two hours of sleep I got because of afore mentioned flat. Had breakfast with two of my friends and came back and crashed after.

I know. They don’t use Thor and Loki at Islands of Adventure so I don’t get why they can’t use them. But I will never understand how that contract works.
