Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend 2025

I'm only running the 5K and 10K this weekend. I'm okay with the shirts but its interesting they are doing 2 gray shirts for the weekend. I guess they had a surplus on gray shirts. Interesting choice for the 10K - isn't Ashoka's colors more blue, white, and orange?

This will be my first runDisney event. Is it possible to change shirt sizes during bib pick-up? Or do you just have try and find someone to trade with? I didn't know they were going to be long-sleeve and I'm on the taller side, so I'll prob need to size up from L to XL.

There will be a t-shirt exchange booth at the expo. It's usually pretty close to the actual t-shirt pick-up spots. It's based on availability and depends on who has traded in certain sizes. If they don't have what you're looking for, just wait around for a bit until someone exchanges the size you want. I've always had luck even if I had to wait for a while for the right size to show up.

Just landed in Phoenix. I have been on this plane for 7 hours (first they had to change a light then they had to refuel then there was wind…). But just glad I’m safe. My energy this weekend is kind of meh but I’m trying to enjoy it.

That's actually a cool concept. They could make a generic runDisney bag like that and it would be a nice way to show off a medal in the parks without wearing it all day and getting neck strain (and banging and clanging it until it falls apart)

Expo was interesting…first time they didn’t make men’s tech I DID IT shirts for 5k, 10k, or Dumbo - just for the half marathon - first time ever since I’ve been RunDisney the last 20 years…only made women’s tech I DID IT shirts for those races.

The medal thing is partly why I bought it. I love it because I’m always carrying a bag around with my mobility device now. And I can keep it in that pouch showing it off

With all the shipping problems happening right now I suspect it might not be that they didn’t order them but it didn’t arrive on time

(For those who don’t know USPS and UPs contract ran out at the beginning of the year and it has been a toss up getting things to arrive on time. I’ve had things show up over a week and a half after it was marked as delivered.)
