Accuweather has these temps listed for the trip. It looks pretty good! Wouldn't want it any hotter then that.
And it seems to cool down nicely in the evenings. Just about perfect, I'd say. Let's hope it stays that way!

Made an attempt to be a little crafty this weekend and put together a "post card" for our trip. You can see it on the Shutterfly account. I'll bring some copies to share...

Oh, and does anybody collect or like Disney pins? I got a couple of the "Where Dreams Come True" Tinker Bell pins in the mail in the MickeyMOMSClub packet today. I already have this pin (from getting dreamed at DCA), so these are extra if anyone wants them.

My little attempt to spread the magic. If only I had Dream Fast Passes and Dream Suites to share...

I will be there too! But since I am going with my nieces, 5 and 7, for their first ever Disney trip, I know I won't want to ditch them, even for a minute!

However, I will be on the lookout for the ladies in the martini t-shirts, and hope I get to meet a few of you along the way! Plus I want my DH to see that there are other "real" people like me that can't imagine not getting the daily fix of the Disboards!!

Wow, those temps look really nice for our trip. Upper 70s would be perfect.

I've been sick w/a dumb, horrible sinus infection......And I'm about to pull my hair out trying to plan a trip to WDW for December. WHY is it so difficult to book a bloody package with a AAA discount on the room portion?!?!?!

I can't book it through Disney.

I can't book it through Dreams Unlimited.

I could book it through AAA, except it seems AAA agents are Disney-lexic. They don't know anything about WDW!!!! They must not book a lot of packages for WDW I guess. I can't imagine that they do, for crying out loud! Can you tell I'm frustrated?

Well, I've got to get Ryan up for school. I'll be back in an hour.

I don't sleep well at night since my DH works nights. Last night I was up until almost 3 a.m. so I went to bed not long before you woke up! LOL

I wake up around 6:45 to get the kiddos ready for school. Needless to say I don't get much sleep.

I do not blame you AT ALL for not wanting to leave their sides. How fun to be there with them for the first time. I hope you all have a wonderful trip with lots of magical memories.

Sorry about the frustration booking WDW. It is a lot to deal with when traveling over there.

Can I vent?

1. Taxes (need I say more?)
2. Doctors (was supposed to take my Mom to a 4 p.m. appointment at UCLA--two hours away. Get email fifteen minutes ago from doctor saying--"oh--can you be here at 1 p.m.?" uh . . . . . no. believe it or not, there are others of us who have schedules too and we can't drop everything because you probably want to go out for drinks.
3. DBF has been out of work for over six months and the poor guy has sent out thousands of resumes. . . . . he is at his wits' end and it is making me crazy too. (It doesn't help that I have a very successful career.) Now his unemployment has run out . . . . he's pissy (I don't blame him) and I'm pissy (between Mom's health issues and too much work--I didn't get to catch up this weekend because I was at MouseAdventure) and between the two of us it is just crazy right now.
4. The problem with giving your clients above average service is that they come to expect it ALL THE TIME so when you do take a little bit of time (like the aforementioned MouseAdventure) they don't understand why everything is not done RIGHT NOW.

I think I'm gonna have a stroke.

Is it wrong that I own two Disney Pins (missing the third ) that I am not allowed to show in Disneyland, because they are too Risque????

I am not kidding I was trying to find the third pin and was told that Pin collectors were discouraged from bringing this particular set to the Parks and if they did they had to do so only by request and with limited people viewing and of course no children around. The best part these are OFFICAL pins not knock offs!!!


And to you early risers I am soooooo sorry! I could not handle it I am so not a morning person.

Thanks Beth--it helps just to get it out . . . so now we're going NEXT Tuesday to see the doc . . . . Of course that means another day of getting up at 4 a.m. (ha ha- -beat you all) to get everything handled before we have to leave for the long drive up to L.A.

I can't remember if I told you guys or not, but I'm Croc Sitting on this trip. A Croc named Flower is on her way to CA as we speak. She just returned from a trip to WDW. There's a whole thread on all the Cros and their adventures at the parks.

Nah, not worried about luggage tags or mini golf coupons.

We want the DDP, and to do that, what have to book a package. It's been a pain in the rear to try to do that. I'll keep chipping away at it though.
