OK I know this is a stupid question but how do you get them on your computer. I have tried saving them under fonts but I am a computer idiot!!!

You have to install them. If you go to your Control Panel and open the Fonts folder, there's an option to install. You need to unzip the folder with the fonts first, then navigate to where you unzip it when you install. It's not as hard as it sounds. Let me see if I can find a better description...
