Hi Everyone,

We are flying from Vancouver to LAX, and we will be taking the Disneyland Express Airport shuttle bus from LA to Anaheim. I will have a one year old girl with me with special needs, so she is not sitting up on her own yet. Does anyone know if I will need to have a car seat with me? Or is it ok to hold her on the bus? Have you seen people holding babies on the bus before?

Thanks!

Car seats are not allowed on board the bus (no seat belts to connect them). You will be fine holding her. And yes, I have done it a few times before.

Holding her on a large charter type bus such as the DRE is safe by child passenger safety standards. Due to what's known as : 'compartmentalization'.

I've used the DRE with my 12 week old and felt very safe.
