Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

Congrats Beth! My weighins are on Mondays but eventhough I worked out the last three days my eating has SUCKED! So I am going the WRONG direction. But like I said I am not even really trying that hard. I am working out but not really trying that hard on the eating and since the trip is so close I am not even going to worry about it.

I AM going to continue to workout next week and every day I can up till the trip but otherwise I am not going to get serious about my eating till AFTER the trip.

Then it is ON cuz then I HAVE to start getting serious!

Otherwise I am going to start going in the WRONG direction!!

Congrats again and WAY TO GO!!

I lost a little. Down from 214 to 212.4 but the best part of that is it puts me at the 50 lb mark!!! I have officially lost 50 pounds and can have a new banner!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
It only took me 10 months to do it too. :rolleyes: :lmao:

Anyway, here's to another 50! :cheer2:

I weighed in this morning at 220, having lost 5 more since last Friday which means I met my goal of losing 20# before the trip!! Wooohoooo!

I'm at 23.5 lost so I am setting a new goal of a total of 25 before our trip which should be doable. I figure the extra 5 lbs can make room for some yummy snacks at DLR!!

Hope you all had a great week. I can't wait for our trip! It's almost here!!

Thanks Kelly. But we can all do this!! And I would give anything to weigh anything even remotely close to what you do now....so I have a longer way to go.

I joined Weight Watchers in January(not my first time). I weigh in on Saturday mornings, and I reached the 10 pound mark yesterday! I would like to lose 15 pounds more, and I'm hoping to get pretty close to that by our trip in late April. I have just started working an exercise routine back into my schedule, so I'm hoping that will help too!
I love reading everyone's advice and words of encouragement, so I'm hoping to contribute too!

Just had a great vacation with absolutely no dieting, I'm afraid. Although I did exercise everyday (yes...was up in that fitness room on the cruise every morning.) and did a 5k run on Castaway Cay. I'm not daring to step on the scale. Maybe in a week...

Hope you all had a great couple of weeks. Congrats on the 50 lb banner Beth! That is an AWESOME accomplishment.

Here are some pics of the vacation, if you want a peek. Spent three nights/two days at Beach Club villas, then Eastern Caribbean Disney cruise and then a day in Florida - morning in Cocoa Beach and afternoon at Space Center. All and all a GREAT vacation. I can't believe I get to go again to Disney in two weeks. This is unreal.

January, I'm sorry about the gain. I've been in that boat. You try so hard all week and are thinking you did good only to gain! :rolleyes: BUT I know you can lose more before the trip. We both can. :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

I know it sucks when that happens...but just keep doing what you're doing. You've been sticking to it and you will see a loss...sometimes I will have a week like that but then I lose more the next..so no worries!!

Ok, so I FINALLY got back to exercising today!

Sadly I ate WAY TOO MANY calories :(

I weighed in tonight at 256.5 lbs:sad1: :headache:
But I have no one to blame but myself. I was doing so well and then it took a backseat to other things.

Well I'm rededicated because I want to be healthy & fit by the time I go off to college.
 
Hi Ladies!

OK, I need to get back to this board. After two weeks off, plus this little cold/bug I've caught, I have no motivation to exercise or eat right. But now is the time to "jump back in" -- in whatever form I can.

My three tasks for today:
1) Face the scale :scared1:
2) Eat right
3) Do some form of exercise, even if it is minimal

Hope you are all doing well. Any walkers still left? We're down to the last week, so if by chance anyone (anyone? Bueller? anyone?) is walking, you are getting close to being able to walk both parks in one full swoop!

OK, task one accomplished. And I'm here to face up to the damage. Gained 4.5 or 5 pounds. :scared:

Very upsetting, but definitely a good motivator to get more serious with tasks 2 and 3. And a pointed reminder that I am not able to eat three full meals a day, indulge in chocolate desserts and imbibe a couple of drinks without consequences -- even if I do put in 30 minutes of cardio a day. Back to life, back to reality...
