Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

I weighed in today and was down 5 lbs....255. I really want to be below 250 for the trip! 4 more weeks!

Wow! That's great news Sarah!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: You can totally do this!! Even if you only lose 2 lbs a week between now and then, that's 8 more pounds!! And I bet you can lose more then that even. But any loss, no matter how big or small, is a step in the right direction so pat yourself on the back for that.

Thanks so much Jen! I got my call last night from the admitting lady going over everything so I guess I am all set. I must admit I am a little nervous but I am glad to finally be getting it over with.

And congrats sarah!! I am SURE you will meet your goal by then!! :)
 
Good morning ladies!

We are up to 25 minutes of walking today. This weekend we have some longer walks, so start thinking about those fabulous hikes to savor.
I love hikes. Especially with the dog. She's always so excited and there's just no question as to whether or not we are having fun.

It's Friday. Time to check in. I weigh the same. No gain. No loss. I did a LOT of exercise on Sunday, but nothing since. But I wasn't supposed to, so it's all good.

It's Friday!!! TGIF everyone!

Well, despite eating a huge cinnamon roll last night and eating fast food on my crazy Wednesday, I am down from 215.4 to 213. 8 for a loss of 1.6 lbs.

I'll take any loss at this point!!! :) (and thanks to Jen's quote I will try to never say "it's only a pound" again! LOL)

Have a good one ladies!!
 
Oh, and I added my weight loss DIS banner back into my sig.
I took it out and realized it helped me before. I started with only a small banner, the 15 pounds one I think, and loved watching it jump up with each 5 pounds I lost, so I added it back in hopes it will motivate me!

I weighed in this morning at 227.0. 3 lbs down since last Friday for a total loss of 16.5 lbs for the month. I can totally live with that, especially since that only leaves 3.5 lbs to lose before the trip to meet my mini-goal! Wooohooo.

I was worried about this weigh in because my week has been crazy and I haven't exercised since Sunday. Really bummed about that because I was very good about doing 4-5 times a week before that. But its just been such a bad week. I cam home early today and I am all dressed and ready to exercise as soon as I log off! Hopefully I can get back on track.

Congrats to everyone on their losses!

Didn't really know I wanted to run yet, but just wanted to be healthy like that. And less than a year later... Also have tinkerbell ladies trip and the castle on my wall... Got to have the visualization board. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much! But I should be thanking you....your quotes and exercise reminders are so motivating! And then the marathon and the pics....I can't even imagine doing something like that but I'm really starting to love exercising so who knows where it will take me!

Congrats to one and all. I haven't really been doing anything and it bums me out that it is already almost the middle of february and I haven't really done much but NOW that my surgery is over I hope to finally be able to start something. I told Shane that I hope to start working out this coming monday. Don't know how that is going to work having him hanging around but we shall see. I have been bouncing back and forth between 155 and 153 depending on what I eat but that is typical. I hope that once I actually start exercising it will come off and STAY off. I go back to my uro on Friday to find out what is next and hopefully he will treat me with meds and not more surgery so that I can keep with my workouts and not have to stop what I am doing again.

I also know that when we go on our trip that it is going to be a little bump in the road cuz I don't plan on watching what I eat on that trip either. BUT I will jump right back on the band wagon once we get back! :)

I REALLY want this and I am happy that I have at least been able to stay at this weight all this time WITHOUT exercising at least. Eventhough I fluctuate almost daily I know it has to do with how much I eat and salt intake etc. I know that I am closer to the lower number and when it goes up a bit it is because of retaining some water etc. So I am not too worried. I also know that once I start working out it will hopefully stay off and it might even go up a bit at first because I might be adding some muscle which weighs more.

But eventually it will go back down.

I just want to see how far I can take this! I still have some stuff on the old thighs that I want to get rid of or at least firm up and same with the arms and waistline so we shall see.

My immediate goal for now is 10 lbs and then we will go from there.

Anyway great job all and I hope to be able to say that I am losing soon as well and KEEPING it off! ;)

You are doing fine Kelly. You just had surgery so right now you just need to focus on taking the best care of yourself as possible. :)
 
Wow, everyone is doing great!!

I just got back from weigh-in. I am down .2 pounds and i will take it happily! I am hitting my TOM and I ALWAYS gain. Plus, I have not been counting points for the past 2 weeks. Just winging it and hoping that I am not screwing up too much. I have just been stressed at work and school, so my weight loss has taken the back seat. I refocusing today and hope to stay focused.:thumbsup2

I completely agree! Hang in there Kelly! Once you are ready, it will happen. Just the fact that you've maintained with everything going on is awesome!
