Hi Ladies! Thanks for the birthday wishes.
So, I'm up in the mountains. Haven't left the cabin in three days and have been snacking non stop -- popcorn (not the light kind), cake, pizza. There is no good food up here. The only exercise I have done is jumping up and down on that Wii Outdoor Adventure game. I was winded, but I think that had more to do with the altitude and being so lazy lately. Oh well...I'll get back on track when I get home.
My DH and DS5 went skiing today and DS3 and me are staying in the cabin being lazy. It's just too much hassle and too much money to go skiing with the little one. Maybe after a couple of years I can ski again. It's been six years since I've really skied -- way back I was pregnant and now I'm with the little ones. I guess that's part of the appeal of DL - it accommodates the whole family so well, not just the older kids.
I am so glad that I have two weeks off from work. It's nice to have some time to rest after the Christmas hullaballoo (now how do you spell that word).
Well there are just a few days until NEW YEARS. And then it really is back to the hard core fitness/weight loss programs. Right ladies??
For now, I'm atrophying on the couch, looking at the cold snow out the window.
Now for the QUOTE OF THE DAY:
If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down.
