Well, no gain is a success in my book! I hope you get to go to DL and have some fun!![]()
Sound preachy?Beth: Remember, goals should be inspirational, not demoralizing. Maybe focus on those things you have control of...like what you eat, how much you exercise...and not reaching an arbitrary weight goal by an arbitrary date. We're in this for the long run. Even after we all reach our goal weight, the struggle continues as we work to maintain and stay healthy. To pick an arbitrary number and then beat yourself up for not meeting it is ridiculous. I'm so proud of you that you were able to lose last week and turn things around! And you lost a great amount: 1-2 pounds. Maybe you could chose another goal, like I'm going to be able to walk 1 mile or 2 miles (or whatever goal makes sense from where you are today) by the time I get to Disneyland. And you will benefit more from the extra energy you get from exercising more on your trip then you will from weighing 1 pound more or 1 pound less. Plus, once you start exercising, there's more wiggle room if you have a treat now and then, because you're burning more calories!! If you stick with eating right and exercising, you will lose weight. Maybe not exactly on your desired schedule, but it will come off!
Hope I didn't sound preachy today. Apologies if I did.
OMG, that sounds so good! I like anything with a Mexican flare to it. Mmmmm.Good morning all. I survived my 16 hour shift, got 5 1/2 hours sleep and now have to turn around and do another 8. Going to make a tortilla torte for dinner. It is pretty good ww recipe with corn tortillas, tomatoes, scallions, avacado, rf beans, and enchilada sauce.
Have a good day everyone and drink that water!

Good for you on going to the gym!!Hello Ladies!
I got myself back to the gym today for some work with weights. Now I think I'm in need of a nice long nap. But looks like I'll be going to take DS to soccer practice instead. Oh well. I can always sleep later.
Here's my QUOTE OF THE DAY
It's kind of fun to do the impossible.
-Walt Disney
Have fun with whatever impossible you're working on this week!![]()
I went to weigh in today and loss another .8 pounds. Now I am down 5.2 total. And that is with snacking and drinking over the weekend. Its hard when DBF spends tons of time with me. He is a huge snacker. So I tend to snack with him. He is supportive of me being in WW. But he thinks I am perfect just as I am. He also told me that he hopes that I am not losing the weight for him.
I give up. I don't know what I am doing wrong. The scale is going the wrong way. Yesterday I was 230 and now I'm 231!!! WTH??
I even walked extra today. And I drank my water. Probably not enough water, but more then I had been. I've been keeping my calories between 1200 and 1300.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm really, really trying to stay positive and upbeat because I hate to be a downer, but it's hard and right now I really am just ready to throw in the towel.![]()

Happy Labor Day Ladies!
Let's try this week to be more grateful for the progress we are making. A positive attitude will lead to more success. Beating ourselves up is self defeating. Gratitude is important - being grateful that we are healthy, that we are on the right path, that we have legs that work, hearts that beat, the will and support and that we need to reach our goals with hard work over time.
