I was always on the petite side. Never skinny, but small. I am 5'1" and the most I weighed in high school was 115. When I turned 25, I had a long term relationship end and that is when I started gaining weight. I also had a job sitting at a desk ALL day. I don't think that helped. A year later, I met my husband. Before I got pregnant with Maddie, I weighed about 140-ish. I was overweight. Then after I had her, I weighed 214. That is the highest I have ever weighed in my life. I was pretty sick with preeclampsia and I know that is where a lot of the weight came from. I lost a lot of it with WW. I quit WW after losing about 57 lbs. I have since gained almost all of that back. I am almost at my heaviest. I weigh 200 lbs and boy does that hurt to admit. I have been off and on with WW. It works, but just like most programs, it takes effort to work. So, I am back on! Woohoo!![]()
I go back to work on the 21st and I am sooo bummed that I didn't work out at all this summer, just some running here and there. I am not an emotional eater, or even an overeater. I am just lazy.
My WW goal is to lose about 70 lbs so I am at a healthy weight. But I would like to get down to 120 (personal goal). I will focus on 5 lbs at a time and go from there.
You all are doing awesome! I am really looking forward to this.
edited to add...
here are some things I challenge myself to do this week:
Drink at least 4 bottles of water a day
Exercise (running or elliptical) 3x this week for 30 minutes
Stay within my daily WW point target
January....are you the January who went on the first Ladies only disneyworld trip? Anyway, we are so happy to have you on this thread with us! I am also doing WW though am not going to the meetings. I have had much success with WW in the past and know it works if we can just stick with it! It will be wonderful having you here with us! And I know you will meet your weekly goal. I always come on this site before work, while I eat my breakfast of a granola bar and a bottle of water. I try not to leave this site before drinking one full water bottle...it helps start the day on a good foot! Congrats for making the decision to join our thread!
