Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

I'm in the same boat. I feel terrible and I'm SO angry that there is NO chocolate in my entire house, I looked EVERYWHERE!:mad::headache: And I have a killer headache. I think my cramps traveled up to my head.

This is such a horrible position to be in! There's no chocolate in my house either! I'm lucky I'm broke or I'd go buy some. For some reason I keep thinking about s'mores. Must. have. chocolate.

I know we must resist though! Right? :confused:

Hope your headache gets better soon! I take lots of Pamprin to help me with my pains.

Ok ladies, time to snap out of it. We are worth more than a moment of chocolate. We are strong, self assured, independant women who can make healthy choices for ourselves and are not ruled by our cravings. I want to be able to walk through those Disney gates the next time I am blessed enough to go and feel proud of my accomplishment to get healthy so that I can enjoy the parks even more. I want to have the energy to go go go and not be winded. And I can do that....and no flippin' chocolate craving is going to get the better of me and take that away from me!

I have a moment on my hubby's computer, so I wanted to check in with you all so you didn't think I disappeared or something.

As you know, my computer locked up infected with 2 Trojan viruses, so yesterday I ordered a new Dell laptop. We need a laptop anyway, so this was a great time to get one (since we need another computer after the death of mine). It hopefully should be here by the end of the week.:banana:

I haven't been doing all that great on my diet. I haven't been bad or anything, but I'm not really losing much yet. I guess I need to kick it into high gear. Hmmmmm, maybe exercise might help?!:idea: :rolleyes1

Sorry about your computer. That sucks. But a new laptop does sound nice. ;)

Hang in there with the diet!! We all go through plateaus. Just stick with it and you will see results for sure. Exercise would definitely help and make sure you are actually eating enough. I know that was an issue for you at one point.

Yep, I don't think I'm eating enough. I was kinda bad this morning though (I don't normally eat in the mornings) and had a banana (not bad) and then a half Arby's Turkey Ranch & Bacon sandwich (BAD!). That's the worst thing I've eaten in two weeks, and the best tasting sandwich ever! (Probably because I was starving.) :laughing:

Does plain iced-tea count? I drink 2-3 quarts of black or green tea every day. :)

Capri: Sorry to hear about your computer. Hope you get the new one soon! And start eating girl! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You're body has probably gone into starvation mode, slowing down its metabolism. Be kind to yourself and nourish yourself. And a nice walk everyday might be good too. :woohoo:
 
Hey all, I just got back from lunch...Thai Food. My mom and I split a lunch special and I made sure not to have all of my half, plus I drank lots of water and decided against a soda. Yay me!

It worked! Woo Hoo! Glad to hear it. I know I have a hard time remembering to drink all the water I am supposed to get in a day, so I figured others might have the same issue. I also notice when I do drink enough water throughout the day, I tend to make better food choices and I also tend to eat less. With those benefits I should be drinking water non stop! :idea:

I get late night cravings too. I chew some gum or rinse with mouthwash, a really strong, minty kind so then I don't want to eat because I know it won't taste as good.

I was a little bad today. I still did my workout, but I didn't make the best choices for lunch and dinner. They weren't horrible choices, but I could've done better.

Wendy, glad you still did your workout. What did you do? I managed to log 32 credits today. 20 of them were with free step. I also did the yoga tree (86%), the push ups (6 of 'em and on my knees - still hard but I felt like they were a little bit easier today - just a LITTLE!) some soccer balls (I gotta be honest... I got a great score tonight!) some ski jumps... I think that's it.

I'm glad my husband and two older kids like to do the Wii Fit... it's become a competition and that's very motivating!
