Disneyland Divas working out, getting healthy, and looking fine in '09!!

So I went to the gym yesterday.

and weighed myself.

I gained 8lbs in the past 1.5-2 months of bad eating and not exercising. I did my 30 minute cardio session yesterday but I don't know if I'll be going today because of family. I'll go tomorrow and on Monday I'll be doing Disneyland healthy style.

I was down 4#'s this week :) The jacuzzi has been really helping my back and the swimming has helped for exercise. I drank more water for the challenge thing and have been making a lot of yogurt/berry smoothies for breakfast. You know something interesting-- I found that the jets in the jacuzzi really help my stomach also. I don't know if it's because I'm hungry, stomach's shrinking or the exercises I'm doing for physical therapy but my stomach's been all knotted up like it would get for stress. Anyways, I'm really happy, I've lost 9 pounds since I started about a month ago.

I lost 2.2 this week. I am at 4.6 pounds lost since I rejoined WW on 1/3. I was so sure I gained!

I am relaxing today. Saturday is pretty much the only day I can spend some time enjoying doing nothing.
 
Hi ladies-

Ok, I have the day off and DH has offered to watch the kids, so I am going to try a 2 hour run today. If my foot and leg act up, I will stop and walk back, but I am really hoping to make it through this to finish up my training for the half marathon in two weeks. Wish me luck.:wizard:

Hi guys!

I can't believe how close the trip is! I would like to lose 12 more pounds before we meet. All of my spring clothes is a size too small and I cannot afford to go out and buy a bunch of new stuff, so I have to keep going strong.

I made the best lunch evah!

I baked some fries (3 pts)
and added some:
homemade chili (4 pts)
FF sour cream (1 pt)
WW shredded cheese (2 pts)
chopped tomatoes (0)
green onions (0)

=10 points. A bit high for lunch but I did not eat breakfast today. So, I figure I could afford to eat that many.:thumbsup2

It was pretty delicious. I was surprised. I am not a mixer of food. So, surprisingly the nacho fries turned out great. Just thought I would share!

OK, I made it 9.5 miles today. Can't say it went great, but I did make it and managed my foot and leg troubles. So I think I am now on to the taper phase of my training -- which means no more long runs until the half marathon in 20 days! :thumbsup2 Those two hour runs really take it out of me. I must admit stopping by at Burger King for a whopper junior with cheese (but no mayo!) on the way home from my run. Just what the nutritionist ordered!

I'm tired now. Think I'll rest up and then start tackling this mess of a house.

Anyway, sorry I haven't been over here much! Congrats to all those who've been losing, and exercising.
I've been in bed recovering since Saturday. I get up and do stuff but he told me to take it easy so I've been pretty much resting. I do want to get back on track with the walking as soon as I can.

Actually tomorrow the kids are back in school so I'll have no choice but to walk the twins. So that's a start. Hopefully the good news is I've lost something since I haven't been eating much. I guess we'll see on Friday what's going on.

Anyhow, turns out it was only 18 days ago! I knew it. That is no dang fair!

Only 18 days?? Ugh, I'd be PO'd! LOL Dumb old Aunt Flo, she just doesn't know when she's out worn her welcome. :rolleyes:

Heck No! And I will probably already have gained from my Feb 14 to the 22 Family trip, where I have a huge "to eat" list.

I have a dcl cruise from Feb 14-21. Plus my run is Feb 1. So I will be a few weeks post training regimen once I see you all in Anaheim!

I didn't walk today. My inlaws who are still in town visiting came over this morning and ended up driving the twins to school. It's probably just as well.
For some reason I feel weak. :confused3
Just walking up the stairs in my house which I do ALL THE TIME, is now causing me to be gasping for breath. I don't understand why. Maybe lack of food and water? Or laying in bed for three days? :confused3

I don't like it though. It bugs me. I hope once I can start eating normally, I'll get some strength back.

The good news is I haven't had Diet Pepsi since Friday, so maybe this will help curb some of my cravings for it.

Hmm, my guess as to why are drained is because you have not had hardly anything to eat. You need some lean protein and good carbs.:thumbsup2 Is that taquito still around.:rotfl2:

BTW...don't forget your 20 minute walk! ::yes::

I'm enjoying a rest day after a 2 hour jog yesterday. And am happy to be at the taper phase of my training - which means only short runs. But I do think I'll need to cross train, so I can keep moving!
 
Hi guys. I didn't forget about you but with everything going on I haven't really been thinking about my weight loss but ironically I haven't been eating anything so I have lost none the less. I am currently at 153 just from plain not eating anything which I KNOW is not healthy but with what has been going on I haven't felt like eating much. Don't worry I HAVE been eating SOME just not a lot.

I am hoping that next week when things get more settled I can actually get back into a routine cuz I still want to exercise but I don't know how long it is going to take for me to feel normal again. Esp now that Shane is working nights. It is hard for me to workout with him "hanging around". So I don't know if I will be able to do that for now or not. I have a lot going on in the next few weeks too. Next week is nothing but the 1st week of feb I have to go to my surgery class and then I have to go meet my psychiatrist and then on the 5th I have my surgery. So a LOT going on. I may just have to wait till that is over before I start back in because I hate to START working out and then have to skip a week. We shall see.

I REALLY want this though and I am going to make sure that whatever meds they put me on don't encourage weight gain cuz I worked too hard to get the weight off that I already lost and I STILL want to lose at LEAST 10 more and possibly 20. So we shall see.

I have been reading yall's threads I just haven't contributed cuz I haven't been doing much lately.

I DO want this really bad though so once I get back on the horse I DO plan on doing this. Good luck to everyone who is still hanging in!! You guys are doing awesome!!
