Disneyland Dining Reservation Problems?

Has anyone, who's recently made dining reservations inside Disneyland, experienced anything bad happen to their reservation? Is it possible for them to reserve the wrong restaurant for you, and is there a way for them to confirm what day you made your reservation (if you called them)?

I've been to DLR several times, but I've never really had a dining experience there. I've heard some stories about people having problems, and although they may be exaggerated I still don't want to take any chances, especially since I have had numerous bad encounters with other restaurants. I also made my plans on Valentines' Day (one of the busiest weekends of the year), so if an error occured, it might not be fixed.

Edit:
The problem is that someone else had called DL for me, and I confirmed with this person serveral times (to make sure he really did book at the Blue Bayou). It's a little embarrassing to say this but I just wanted to get some facts straight first so that when I do call to confirm, I won't sound like an idiot whos trying to get a table at a fully booked restaurant by claiming that a staff made a mistake.

Well, of course, problems CAN happen - just like with a reservation anywhere. If you are concerned, call Disney Dining and tell them you would like to confirm your existing reservation. They will ask you for details to locate it and confirm it for you. Easy.

I have never had any problems with my dining reservations before, and everything was always right. But if you are ever concerned, just give Dining a call and they can confirm your information for you. I had to on a couple occasions because I forgot what exact time I had requested, lol.
 
Well, you can see my siggie for the number of trips we have taken in the past couple of years, we've not had PS/reservations for ALL of them but we did for quite a few of them. I can say we never had any major issues with any of our reservations, we were waiting a couple times at BB longer then we wanted to wait but that's it, our name has always been on the list. I'm so comfortable with it now that I don't ever call to confirm, but we did in the past. If you're worried call and confirm. :)
 
The only time I made a PS, the didn't have my name down when I went. So I guess I just have bad luck because everyone else has zero problems. The CMs apologized though and still honored it.
