Disneyland DAS & Ticket question

I know they have no obligation. But they don’t seem to care enough to make exceptions for some unique issues that were nobody’s “fault” due to covid, expiration and the reservation system. The last person I talked to on the phone told me to just come because they probably wouldn’t have a reservation system by then. 🙄

Well, that last part would be amazing! LOL. Maybe that lawsuit spooked them.

Your entire problem revolves around the fact that you purchased tickets from LMTC, which is a terrible company with a terrible reputation.THEY are the ones who you should direct your anger to. Disneyland really cannot help once you have purchased tickets from a 3rd party reseller.

I'm really sorry you are dealing with this whole issue. At this point, I would honestly dispute the purchase with my credit card. You paid for a good that you have not received. End of story.

The real irritation is that I had travel insurance which covered job loss. But my boss was / is terrified and closed the office and was too scared to go get a letter notarized that I was unemployed. I don’t know why they just couldn’t have used my unemployment paperwork. Anyway, by the time he got the letter I was home with 3 munchkins and unable to get any paperwork done. Oh well. 🤦‍♀️

...
LMTC is being unreasonable. There is no reason why you can't digitally send them a photo of your ID and credit card to verify your identity and email you the ticket numbers.
Sadly, LMTC no longer exists as a company. They were bought by Hotels.com (I think). There was a LONG thread on the DL board helping people get refunds from LMTC during 2020. We had at least 2 people from LMTC working with us to help DISers. That thread was closed by admin a long time ago.

Well that explains that. Yikes!

Yikes! I agree that at this point your only recourse is a dispute with your credit card company for any refund.
Disney owes you nothing and their reservation system is what it is. Their hands are tied when you purchase from a 3rd party.
No wonder the statement that your tickets are at “will call” didn’t make sense.

Unfortunately, if the company that the tickets were purchased from has essentially disappeared, not sure even disputing with the credit card company will work, as they simply do a merchant charge back to recoup the monies. If the merchant doesn't exist anymore, no go.
