Disneyland App Error

Hello everyone, frequent reader here but a question I can't find the answer to anywhere, so have finally joined up!

I spent the day in Disneyland on Saturday (had a fantastic day), and after buying tickets at the hotel, I tried to add my ticket onto my Disneyland app on my phone for maxpass. The app wouldn't load the ticket onto it and when I tried to log back in, I had the message ""Something's not right. Please try signing in again soon". I've had this message ever since. Have reinstalled the app twice, turned phone off and on, changed app password, but still the same message.

I spoke to guest relations in the park and they didn't know what to do except email for support. I did and they recommended calling the "Guest Information & Ticket Sales Team".... I would do this but I'm UK based and calls will be expensive.
The strange thing is, I can log in to my Disneyland app on my iPad.

Has anyone had experience with the error message and know how to get my phone to allow me to log into the app again? I'm headed back to Disneyland for 4 days at the end of January and would really like to be able to use my phone to utilise maxpass. Luckily I was with a friend this time and we used maxpass on his phone. Interestingly he couldn't log in on my app so seems to definitely be a phone issue, I just cant think of what else to try other than a full reboot.

Thanks!

I would try deleting and reinstalling the app.

I got this message a couple of times today when I logged in, and it always seemed to occur when I didn't have a very strong internet connection. It seemed like the app dropped during the login process if my connection wasn't a full 5 bars. First time it happened to me in 2 years, so thought I'd mention it. FWIW, I'm using an Android phone.

On Sunday, three of us entered through gate 23 (I believe) and when we all tried to get FPs, we found that something had gone wrong with our ticket scans (presumably) and we had to go all the way back to the gate to have our APs scanned again.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all your tips. I think I have found the reason for the error - something to do with the date/time settings on my iPhone. I had put the settings forward to January to check something on a work calendar and something must have "stuck" when I put it back. All seems to be working now.

Well, spoke too soon. Unable to login to the app on iPhone, still fine on the iPad. Any additional suggestions appreciated.
Edit to add: Hard reset of iPhone complete and backed it up from a previous backup from before I had the DL app. Can log in again. Note to everyone - don't change the time on your devices!

I am/was having the same issue. Shut my phone off, redownloaded the app. But I was using my Face ID which seems to be the root of the problem as I typed in my user and password and got on no problem so it seems to be a long running bug if it’s still happening to this year
