Disneyland 70th speculations and news

Maybe the reason they dumped so much 70th merchandise at once is because, in two months, they will start putting out Halloween (followed by Holiday) merchandise.

Probably some truth to that…

Another rumor is they rushed it all here early to avoid looming tariffs.

NNNNOOOOOOOOOO! That was one thing I wanted....for my desk that I don't really work at anymore but I love all the stationary type stuff...those darn floating pens better be there!

I am wondering if they'll restock anything? They still have 2 months until the "official" date, and they're celebrating all year, you'd think they'd have bought high quantities of merchandise.

I think they will. This week was full of media events. Something like the post it notes would be a good gift to bring back to the office. Maybe they got snagged by the media.

Starting June 1 they only list a 10:15 showing

I just hope Disneyland is prepared with enough stock of merch. Don't let this be another DisneyWorld 50th fiasco...

Hoping for a drop online too. I really want the ear hat and ear headband and the Loungefly and the coffee cup and the t shirt and the sweater and the backpack and the hat and the tumbler and the pins and the..

I brt Disney Store will have SOME stuff (the bigger ticket clothing items and expensive memorabilia) but I'M guessing it won't be until closer to the actual date. Just a guess...

Today’s the day! Hope everyone who is at the parks today has a great time. I have some questions if anyone can report back:

- Crowds!?

- the Paint the Night Plaza Inn dining package - is it meatloaf or bust?

- What time does everyone start lining up for Paint the Night if you don’t have a package?

- How to see the parade and fireworks one right after the other?

- The Disneyland Key souvenir - worth it, or just an expensive gimmick?

We will be there in just 6 weeks and I *cannot* wait!

From what I've been able to glean. Both the tour and the dining package will watch the parade from Town Square. I don't know how they are going to divide up the viewing area.

I saw this picture posted on a Disney Instagram page last week. I'm guessing this is the popcorn that the tour will receive.

Seems kind of a letdown was hoping the tour would be a little bit nicer.

Remember, the Her Universe Disneyland collection will be available online starting on Monday.

I will be at the park tomorrow (Saturday 5/17). Would love to meet up since I will probably be solo (I have a reservation for my mom, but she may not come depending how she feels today). Planning for all day and hoping to see the parade. Very excited! Will be wearing my 70th shirt (the pink one you can see in the second picture) I got last month!

For those wondering, Scott Gustin posted this morning that PTN and WOC Happiness will be running throughout the duration of the 70th. This means PTN is scheduled to run during Halloween and the holidays through next summer. Wondrous Journeys will stop for Halloween and Christmas and return in 2026. Better Together will stop during Halloween and the holidays and return after Lunar New Year. Tapestry of Happiness will also run continuously through the end of the 70th.

That means no garland across Main Street this year. The Frozen float is too tall. During the 60th they didn't put up the garland either.

We wanted more shows...so can't complain....through poor DCA....it can't get a parade during Halloween and what not sucks but it is what is it but DCA needs more....much more then Disneyland

I wish they’d just let Halloween Screams die and just keep all the offerings running for the entire 70th. I’ll be there during Halloween too so I’m excited for my friends who have never seen PTN to see it. We will be there on an Oogie Boogie night so we won’t be able to catch WoC but it kinda sounds like it’s been mixed reviews anyway. May only end up seeing it once next month.

Lines to purchase the keys are insane (adult pin traders). Someone said it was limit 10!! The lines for each key station is also long. Large lockers in Disneyland sold out by 9:30 am!

Lines for popcorn buckets as well, but not as many people with $50 Mickey buckets as there are with $60 keys.

Post its have been restocked.
