Disneyland 70th speculations and news

It's only $55 total for 4 people for me to add a day to our DL trip, so I'm going from a 3 day one park with LL to a 4 day one park with LL for only $13.75 more per person.
I love that Get Away Today will let you swap tickets if a new discount comes along.

We were going to go to Knott's that day but for $55 for all 4 of us it just makes sense to stay at DL for the day.

I don’t believe the tickets from getaway today and the 70th anniversary sale tickets from Disney could be combined in any way to make them any kind of a less sale price as as a combination if so, can somebody explain how please

Yes, but tickets with a barcode came about 2 hours after I ordered them.
Huh weird, I ordered the tickets this morning and got attachment saying it was tickets, but no barcode. I guess I'll wait 24hrs and then call them. Thanks

Did you get 2 emails from them? Whenever I’ve ordered tickets from them I get an email confirming my purchase with a receipt attached, and then a 2nd email titled “vacation itinerary” with the ticket vouchers attached. The vouchers should have ticket number/barcode.

Yes I got both, but no barcode. I guess I need to call, thanks.

FYI I had an issue I got the two emails but they had some sort of glitch. I messaged via Facebook and they resent the second email and the barcodes worked.
this was this morning.

Have there been any speculation about Disneyland offering an upcharge event for reserved viewing of Paint the Night and/or the fireworks? With a wiggly 3 year old we won’t want to camp out for hours to see everything, so as much as I hate upcharge events on principle it would definitely be something I would consider booking.

My conspiracy theory is that they plan to offer a super-premium Blue Bayou dining package for PTN/Wondrous Journeys and that’s why moved the top tier of Fantasmic packages to Cafe Orleans. It doesn’t look like they’ve done it for previous anniversaries though, and the dining reservation window is already out to the second week of May…so maybe I’m just speculating wildly.

Dining is available for the opening weekend and I don't see any 70th special dining events, thoughts on when they might announce if they're doing any dining packages or dessert parties? I'd hoped they show up when dining opened, does that mean they're not doing any or they'll announce them a few weeks out?

The event calendar hasn't opened for that date yet. Meaning, there is no timing listed for the parades. Maybe once the times are announced, they will add something.

the WOC party is so expensive but we love it, I'll be trying to book that one as well.
If they do a paint the night package we will likely do it too because I've never seen it and it will be a priority.
