We are heading to Palm Springs for my Grandad's 100th Birthday in a week and are going to be hitting Disneyland for a day. I havn't been since I was 17 so any tips would be appreciated. We used to go for one day all the time when I was growing up and do pretty much the whole park in a day. We are only doing Disneyland not CA think that is still possible? I am planning the day for my DH and Mother. We have a Cafe Orleans Reservation for lunch, any feedback on this place?

The 21st is a Friday. (No MM so you'll be even with everyone else) Assuming you want to maximize your day, I recommend the following:

- Purchase the tickets ahead of time.
- Arrive (at least) 45 min. early & have DH drop you & your mom off at the circle & THEN he goes to park.
- Be first (or near the front) at the security tent & then first in line at the turnstiles. (where DH will meet you).
- FL first. (PP, Dumbo, Alice, Matterhorn...then pick up a FP at SM unless someone wants to run over while the other two do Dumbo)
- Continue to tour & collect FP the first 2-3 hours prior to it getting crowded. (Use Hydroguy's many FP tips & read all the rest of his tip threads).

If you're productive the first 3 hours, the rest of the day will go smooth & you can "go with the flow" all afternoon....with 4-5 FPs in your pocket for later when it's crowded. :thumbsup2

Have fun at Walt's park. :hippie:

:)

Thanks! We will take all the tips in to acount. My stepdad is coming now so there will be 4 of us which actually works better because no one will have to ride alone. Am I correct in thinking that the crowds will be pretty low?
