Hi Ladies,

Well I am finally getting round to starting my planning journal.

Right where do I start?

Friday 13th April - We're on our way!

We woke up at around 6am to grab a shower and pack those last couple of bits and pieces while John's family all arrived at the house ready to leave for the airport. The bus arrived on time 7:15 am John and his brothers all got the cases and bags on the bus and we left for the airport. We had a really quick journey there it only took us around 25 mins as there was hardly any traffic on the road which was amazing considering its one of the busiest motorways near where I live.

We arrived at the airport and started to que to check in, not realising that there was a separate que for us as we had upgraded our seats to premium! Doh!! So half way around the que I realised this and we decided to change ques. After checking in we all decided to go and sit down for a drink. John's niece started to get a little excited and was asking how long till we get on the plane every 5-10 mins, which kind of sped up the time. The flight was good and we had lots of movies available to watch with plently of food and drinks.

We arrived at Sanford airport around 15:35 grabbed our bags and was straight over to Dollar to pick up the car and was finally off to Disney!

We pulled up at the Yacht Club and checked in we spoke to the lady on the desk and mentioned that we would be getting married and she went away in the back room for a couple of minutes when she came back she said that as a wedding present from them they have upgraded our room to have a view of the gazebo! We where both thrilled got the elevator and made our way to our room (2094). I have to say the room was gorgeous 2 double beds a fantastic view with plently of room and lots of little animal friends scattered around hte place!

We unpacked really quickly and was straight down stairs to catch the bus to the Magic Kingdom!

We had it planned all along that as soon as we had checked in we where going to go straight to the MK as we wanted to get there in time for wishes and spectromagic! We had been dying to see it, but friends of ours where convinced we wouldn't make it and be too tired oh how wrong they were

We got off the bus went though the turnstyles and was stunned by everything. It was John's first time in Disney and my first time as an adult. Frist stop was the shop to buy our bride and groom ears

We had another bride come straight over to us and ask where we got our ears! lol bless we pointed her in the right direction and off we went again having a nosey around everything we could before it was time for the show. About 5 mins before the show was due to start we had a call from John's family who where in MK also and his niece Elle wanted us to watch wishes with her at the front of the castle. which was nice but unfortunately you dont get the full view from that angle. Oh well it was only the first night so we still had plenty of time to come back. That night we didnt really do much just walked around watched wishes and spectromagic (the shows where fantastic ) and went on thunder mountain!

We catched the bus back to the hotel opened the door to our room and there was a card on the floor from Cinderella and Prince Charming congratulating us on our wedding! I was so happy it was our first wedding card! lol I was thinking everyone back home will be laughing when i tell them about this!!

Disneygirl24, definately mention that you are getting married the more you mention it the more chance you have at getting little extras! No harm done by it

Hi Girls,

Sorry I haven’t updated my TR for a while now its just my sister hasn’t really been feeling too well lately and I’ve had to help out with the kids.

Anyway on with the TR

Saturday 14th April

We got up early after a great night at MK had a little walk down to the board walk and breakfast at Spoodles. I had heard lots of great things about this place and though we had better check it out. I had Mickey waffles and DH had a full breakfast, the food was great!

So after breakfast we took the boat over to MGM for the day we managed to do most of the rides and shows including lights, camera, action which DH loved! Fantasia one of our favourite bits of the day. We had lunch at the Si-fi Drive Thru which was one of our favourite meals during the whole stay! The waiter gave us both our driving licenses as we where getting married!

We then strolled over to the Rockin Rollercoaster and got given two fast passes by the CM on the queue which was great because the queue looked like it would have taken around 2 hrs…

After much persuasion from DH we then made our way over to the tower of terror now can I just say I am totally scared senseless of heights and just looking at this thing made my legs all shaky! I will however go on any rollercoaster which I have to admit is slightly strange but I think I just feel safer on them. The CM in the queue also brought us to the front of the queue because we had our ears on Do’h forgot the ears get you noticed and I really didn’t want to be at this one time lol. Anyway after building myself up to go on this monstrosity it turns out it wasn’t bad at all and I was quite pleased with myself! The picture was kinda funny though as I had this ridiculously straight face and DH was sat next to me turned slightly looking to see if I was okay and everyone else on the photo was screaming and having fun lol

We sat down on some benches after this and out of no where one of the CM’s that had just finished her shift came over and gave us two fast passes which where valid for 1 month! We said thank you and before we knew it she was gone! A bit like a fairy god mother! Lol

Anyway we saved fantasia till last and then grabbed the boat back the YC had a little walk around the gazebo to see what it was like up close at night and decided head back to the room for some sleep…

We got up and dressed and headed down stairs to the gallery restaurant to have breakfast it was raining outside quite heavily so we decided to leave the parks till later that day so we headed across to the mall for a look around..

Later that afternoon our friends who had come over for the wedding had arrived and where in Epcot to we drove straight over there and met up with them. Epcot is one of my fav parks I love it!

We went on test track and Soarin (my fav ride of the holiday by far) and all the other major attractions then it was time for reflections of earth! After that headed across the MK to catch Wishes and spectro magic. Had our picture taken with Chip and Dale, Goofy and lots of other characters..

We got up early and headed down to the court house to get our license, it was fairly straight forward to get to we filled in all the documentation and waited to be called there was the sweetest little girl with her parents in the waiting room that kept everyone entertained why they waited. After we got our license we headed back to the hotel to put the form in the safe and went for a walk around the board walk.

My family where flying today so we headed over to their hotel on I-drive to meet up and have some dinner with them. We left them all to get settled in and catch up with their sleep.

Once again met up with friends at MK for another look around and watched the shows. We cant get enough of MK it was just so pretty!
