This may have already been asked, so I apologize in advance! :flower3:

If I enroll my kids, and the class cancels, what happens to my tickets? Do I then owe more money? Are my tickets voided and money refunded?

We are going in September, and I am enrolling my kids in the class on the 12th. I am worried about the class filling since school's will be back in session.

Thanks!

If the class is cancelled due to low enrollment you will be allowed to keep all of your tickets at no additional charge.

Hello

My sister homeschools her four daughters, ages 12 down to 8. She is looking to join a YES group for anytime during the week of November 14th-18th. How should I advise her? Should she begin here on the DIS boards or call the YES program reps?

Hoping my DD will be able to take a couple classes in the timeframe of feb27- march 2nd of 2012. I know presidents day is on feb.20th in 2012 so this would be the week after.

Does anyone know if they might be having classes during that timeframe? Thanks for your help!:worship:

Just heard about the YES program and went to the site to find the only session offered for our boys age group is closed. Sent an email to the contact on the YES site asking if there is a waiting list but haven't received a reply. Do they have a waiting list? Do they ever add more sessions? Should I not buy any tickets and hope that something changes when we arrive on site?

We are going in October and staying on site. Do they give preference to resort guests?

Thanks!

No. When a class is full it is full. The hs class filled in january and there were no options to still get in. And, no, they dint five preference to onsite guests.

We are going with the Carolina homeschoolers Nov 12-19 you are welcome to join the group. Just look up the site. (sorry can't post the link)

This is so exciting. My grandchildren are going to enroll in a class when we go in June. I never knew this existed until I found it on the boards. Thanks!

The person who posted the question was asking about DisneyLAND, and EMH (Magical Mornings) work differently there - it is based on the type of ticket you purchase, not where you stay. Hence the question about whether or not YES tickets qualify.

I have no idea what the answer to that question is, but I'd appreciate it if whoever does find an answer would post it!

And that is why I answered this poster noting what situation is for EMH at WDW & said I would guess it may be same a DL but to call YES to find out. Maybe you could make the call to YES since you are wondering about DL too and help out the op who asked about DL EMH w/YES ticket .

Let us know what you find out :)

Nothing open for my girls age group. There was only 1 class and it filled up extremely quickly. Had been watching for it to open and when I rechecked it had disappeared. Anyone have any ideas or know of a homeschool group we could join? Wanted to do Wild by Nature, but now a no go. Thanks for any advice.

They don't have a waiting list but for the week of Aug 22 they did add another session just a couple of weeks ago, after 2 of their classes had filled up, so maybe there's hope for you. Why not email asking if they think they might add another session for that week?
For the week of Aug 22, there was a "Wild By Nature" class on Aug 23 that my kids were interested in but by the time I went to sign up it was filled. So we signed up for Physics on Aug. 22. The class that they added to the schedule just a couple of weeks ago was "Ocean Discoveries" on Aug 24.

When I emailed and talked to them they told me they will be adding more dates throughout October going to the 1st week in November:goodvibes

Thanks for info. Will keep checking with the 1-800# and post if something changes in October.

has anyone signed up for a class bought tickets and then wanted to change them (like from 3 day hopper to 4 day regular) and been allowed to?

The Oct 11th Ocean Discoveries class had been listed as closed last week or so, but now it is listed as open again. This may mean they added another class?

If you are looking for a specific class or date and it shows closed, definitely keep checking back since it looks like they are adding classes to some extent.

Also, several of us have been told that additional classes will be added in fall for Homeschool Days. And (I think) at least one person posted that they were told the Homeschool Days are technically not limited to homeschool groups or students, but will not be listed/open until the Homeschool Days marketing is released (so that the classes do not fill-up before then).

So, KEEP checking back!

Somewhere between pages 130-150 on this post (sorry, I tried to scan but couldn't find it) there were a few people that had been able to make changes to their tickets. But that was when the tickets were being mailed out, then they had to mail the originals back and get new tickets printed. Anyway, not sure what their reasons for change were and not sure if that procedure has changed as of mid-April with some other program changes. Best advice is to call and ask.:confused3

really?! :) i heard that they were not planning to add Individual Enrollment dates in november, and was really disappointed b/c our trip is from 11/5-11/10. if they add dates through the first week of November, we still have a chance to do the class and get the great price on admission tix! did they say when these dates might be added?
