Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

I was going to go with my favorite....TOOL.

Anyhow...on the big and better things... does anyone who has done this program b4 know if they will have November dates. I spoke to the girl @ Disney that handles this area maybe like 2 months ago (or longer) and she said that she didnt think there would be classes in September and October and November since the food and wine festival...but yeah:goodvibes now they have Sept and Oct....but I am really hoping for Nov. we usually get 10 day park passes but I am willing to shorten the time for them to do these classes (then they really are getting "education" on the trip) Thanks in advance!

I love planning ahead, but it appears that the class date are maybe 6 months out. We are looking at the last week of Sept. 2012. Grandkids will be 10 and 5, and would like to do the Physics- Energy and Waves, and How Things move. It just so happens that those classes are available this year that week. From past expierience, what are the chances of having classes for their age groups on that one week, for the individual program?
I know that no one can be sure. I see that there are not alot of classes weekly. The reason that I would like to know so far ahead is that we may be using my DD timeshare for rooms, and will have to book 7-12 months out.
Just in the thinking stages now.;)

Everyone I have a question, I signed my kids up for the YES program on Friday night, I am concerned I never got an email from them, I do have a copy of my confirmation that I printed when I paid that gave me my order code and date completed, but it states below it All orders will be verified prior to payment processing. Should there be any discrepancies in your order, you will be notified via phone or e-mail. Can you explain what is going on, also it let me pay 10.00 for express shipping so I am confused when everyone says they are not mailing info. Thanks for any help you can give

Do they offer dates for December (or have they in the past)? I noticed they only offer December classes for Disneyland California. I was interested for both my 5 and 8 year (at the time of travel) to experience one of the classes but we aren't going till the week before and during Xmas week (wasn't sure if they do these classes during busy times of the year).

With all the glitches going on, it might be easier to give them a call Monday. I know for my order I went through the "buy ticket packages" link and had no problem getting the confirmation and a couple emails from them. But the "sign up now" button only worked for the classes through August 29 and still had the shipping option. It's all been pretty confusing, especially since I think most of us figured we'd be waiting til June to even register for Fall.

I needed to change one of my tickets and wasn't sure if I could. I'm adding days to it, and figured Disney would be happy to take more of my money. I called the phone number on the website and was given an address to mail it back with a note requesting the specific change. I also enclosed a copy of my confirmation email.

Do you suppose changes can be made if there's enough time to send them back and have them returned before the trip? Or is there a certain cutoff date that would make it a little too close to send in/get back the tix?

Is October registering now?

Sept and Oct registration (sort of) opened up last friday.
I was able to register my family of 5 (2 adults & 3 students) for the Wild by Nature class on Oct 25th and purchase 8 day Park-Hoppers.:yay:

As of this morning, Ashley's voice mail says she is no longer with the program. I spoke with a gentleman and he said they were still working on a problem with the October dates, but that to his knowledge the Oct 10th class would still be offered.

That would work. After the kids go through the gate just gather up the tickets.

What about if the class starts before the park opens? Our group will be doing the Wild by Nature class that starts at 8:30, and the park opens at 9am. One of the adults from our group, that isn't doing the class, said she go to AK with us at 8:30, but would that even work? I know she wouldn't be able to enter the park until 9, but if we went through the turnstile, could we turn back around and hand our park ticket to our family member on the other side of the turnstile? If we could, that would work best/easiest for us to obtain f/p's, but if not, would there be a way for the other family member to catch up to the class after 9 to get our park tickets? TIA!

Hubby told me to go ahead and sign up before the classes filled. I have 2 in Ocean Discoveries on Oct 11th and 1 in Captivating Memories Oct 11th. I'll go with my teen, Hubby will go with the two little ones.
These are the classes and the day we had planed so I am happy.
I just got 3 day hoppers since we are doing US/IOA as well.

I got a will call print out so i'll have to pick mine up i guess.

I received confirmation of a registered class March 26th (class to be held in June). Paid for express ticket shipping. I am still waiting for Fed Ex to deliver the tickets.

Payment has been deducted from my credit card so everything should be a go with the class.

If you registered for a class in late March and paid for express shipping, have you received your tickets yet?

Thanks,
Kate

Thanks for posting the update. I have my fingers crossed that October 10th will still be a go.

I haven't had a reply to my email or phone inquiry as of yet. I'll post if I hear anything.

Thanks everyone.

Hi everyone- New to this "YES" subject and had a couple quick questions and I'm sure they have been covered many times so SORRY!

* It will be myself and my husband and our 10 year old daughter. I would like to sign her up for a class and it looks like one of us needs to attend it with her. My question is can I get tickets for all three of us? When I tried to look into it it seems I can only buy them for her and the adult attending, is this correct?

* We will be obviously needing to get a hotel and would like to get dining (we will be paying for it I'm sure, since there are no pins yet, so that is fine). My question is Can I call and make all 3 together (hotel, dining option and Yes program tickets)?

* We will not be going until end of February early March. Is the Yes program all year around?

Thank you!!!
