I'm not sure about the dates. I think someone said they were planning to release more after the current ones are finished, late February. I do know that you will be able to buy tix for your entire family through the program. :goodvibes

Thanks so much! We are only going to be able to visit for 3-4 days at the parks and I know my kids would love to do some type of program. I hope there are some dates released that will work for us!:goodvibes So we would order the tix. and reserve their spaces? Then the tix. will come in the mail and we take them with us or do we pick them up at the program? This thread is long I'm having a hard time trying to find out all the info.! My kids will be 4, 9 and 12 so I'm hoping to find one my older 2 can do togther!

If you get the premium ticket you will have 8 days of the major parks, and 8 days of the water parks/disney quest. You do not have to use them all within 8 days. So, you could visit something every day of your 10 day trip. We are in the same boat. We will do a water park on two days of our trip if it's warm enough. If not, we'll go to Disney Quest. You could even do both of those on the same day if you wanted to.

Thank you!! I was trying to explain this to my DH and he kept saying I had to be confused and to double check it out. Thanks so much for the information

I just wanted to add a huge thank you to everyone for your help with this. I am praying that they will open this up for October!!!!!!

Yes, you would register them, reserve their spaces in the class(es) you choose, and order your tickets at that time. It's up to you if you want them shipped ($10 for the entire order) or want to pick them up at will-call (no charge, all four parks plus Downtown Disney).

Anyone going 8/9-8/17/2011? My kids are older, 16 & 13 & would love to do an age appropriate class.

We just came back from our first YES trip and it was wonderful. Mandi and Marie were wonderful instructors for the Wild By Nature program in Animal Kingdom. My son, my husband and myself loved this program. Marie and Mandi just made it so fun and entertaining. I would love to take another class especially with those two as instructors.

We are waiting for the June Open Enrollment, DS participated last year and enjoyed it.

Last year we picked up our tickets at DTD. If you order them to be delivered are you getting actual tickets or vouchers to exchange for tickets? Due to our schedule this year it would be way more convenient to have tickets on hand already.

As it stands right now, we are going June 15-25. He really wanted to do Dynamics of Technology, but that is on June 14th or Properties of Motion, but that one is on July 11th. I have a teacher workday on June 13th that I have to be at, so if we drive we won't make it for the 14th and I prefer not to go in July if possible.

So....if our plans stay the same, he will be doing Ocean Discoveries on June 20th.

Where did you find the June and July classes? Is it listed somewhere in this lengthy thread or is there a website that lists classes for this year? Are the June and July classes available to anyone? Confused...:confused3

oops - found it
http://www.disneyyouth.com/individual-enrollment/catalog/

We will be there 8/20 to 9/3 if anybody is putting together a group please PM me. I would have two boys, ages 8 and 11. The classes sound like so much fun.

Yep, that's the one. You can't register yet, but you can see what's available. I think we have changed our plans and are going to do the Wild by Nature class on June 28. We could change our minds again by the time registration opens ;-)

Thanks for posting the positive review, DisneyWalle! My 7.5 y.o. son will be participating in the Wild by Nature program on Jan. 25 (p.m. program), and I'm hoping he will love it. Maybe we'll get the same wonderful instructors. :)

You get actual tickets, no exchange necessary. :goodvibes

We signed up last week and am so excited!! The savings in our park hopper ticket alone is fantastic and if the program is as wonderful as everyone says, this is one AWESOME program!!

I was so hesitant that I finally called them myself and after speaking to them, I signed my kids up for TWO classes!! They helped me get the tickets for our entire stay and the tickets for my parents that are staying with us for a portion of our time there.

Definitely call them if you have any questions. It does seem like it's too good to be true, but it all worked out fabulously in the end!!

I'm curious does anyone know when they will release the dates for october? Also do I just buy my 3 kids their tix. through the program and then mine and dh's separetley?

We are going to be on your cruise (October 16). Maybe if Disney doesn't have a class for open enrollment, we could put our own group together. I have 2 boys ages 12 and 8.

That sounds great! :thumbsup2
We are still unsure exactly what we are doing before the cruise...due to finances(my oldest 2 just got top braces and they were a medical necessity!) Originally we were going to try and do 2 days at US/IOA before the cruise, as my 11 y.o.ds is a major HP nut and we have NEVER been to US/IOA and we've been promising to take him. However the tix. prices seem like a lot and I'm thinking to be able to take full advantage of going to US, we'd need to shell out a ton of $$$ to stay on-site to get FOTL access plus I'm afraid my 4y.o. will be bored to death.:scared1:
Then we discussed just doing MNSSHP as we've never done that before either. The problem is that I'm thinking there is no way we'd be able to come all the way down to FL and not do any days at WDW...so I was so excited to find out about the YES program. :goodvibes Also this time we are driving instead of flying, to save money, and I know we have to plan our time wisely!
As of now my dh can take up to 2 weeks off...so I'm thinking it would make more sense to hit the parks before the cruise. Then maybe do MNSSHP the night we get off the cruise(again depending on finances) and then start the drive home the next day.
Decisions, decisions!

We will be arriving in Florida on Friday night. So if need be, we could all do a class together on October 15 (the day before the cruise). I think you could still use your tickets up to 7 days before the class. Also if you bought an extra day it would be a lot cheaper to just do another day in the parks than to do MNSSHP. We went to the party last year at Disneyland and it was nice but the kids got tired early so it was expensive for a few hours.

We've never done any of the parties before even though we've been there twice when MVMCP was happening, simply due to costs. My kids just really want to go trick-or-treating at MK. I'm hoping I can just talk them into wanting to do extra park days instead as it does make more financial sense :goodvibes
I'm thinking I will just end up telling them we'll save it for another year when my youngest is a little older and can stay up later;)

My kids are interested in this one. What ages/grade levels were the program participants?

I was just curious if anyone here was signing up their child(ren) for the February 14 "How Things Move" class. I just signed up by 5 year old and my 7 year old. :goodvibes

The receipt says the class may be canceled if less than 10 children register for the class. Has anyone had experience with this? If the class gets canceled, can we still get the YES discounted tickets? TIA!

.
