Do you actually purchase the tickets at a ticket window? I was hoping I could use Disney Reward dollars or Disney gift cards to buy my YES tickets. Thanks.

You cannot use Disney Rewards dollars nor Disney gift cards to purchase YES tickets :( You must use a regular credit/debit card at the YES website to purchase the tickets. Keep in mind that they are non-refundable, so make sure that you are sure before purchasing. But, many (maybe even most) classes sell out well in advance. So, you also can't wait too long if the dates/classes you want come available.

When you arrive at WDW, you will pick up the tickets at a will-call window (not a resort).

I'm sure this has been answered before, but I can't find the info:

Does anyone know approximately when we can expect the Individual Enrollment dates to be posed for late June/early July 2012?

From what I can see, the schedule is posted thru February.

Should I be checking everyday, or will it be a few months?

Thanks so much for your help.

Honestly, I'd check every day. They said earlier this year that it would be weeks....and then the next day dates were posted. They might just throw up the dates and people won't be able to register. But, to me that's still better than promising and not producing :)

How far in advance do they normally announce these dates?

I was thinking this might be a possibility for next February... (2013) ?

I couldn't find any dates to see if they were listed for Feb 2012 yet.

Thank you, DIS_MERI - that's what I'll do. I'd hate to miss out!

I emailed them a couple weeks ago this is the response regarding summer individual enrollment.

Thank you for your email! Typically, programs are offered during January and February and June through October each year. (Please note that this information is subject to change at any time).

Currently, we are accepting registrations for guests participating in programs in January and February 2012. No dates for summer or Fall 2012 have been released at this time. The current plan is to release our June - October dates after the new year.

Please continue to check back to our website for updates. We will also include you in our email update list. Then as new information is released you will receive a email alerting you. We hope you will be able to join us in summer 2012.

Have a Magical Day!

I'm pretty sure they will not post the summer dates until the last of the winter dates are already happening. Last year it was at least the first week of February. I registered on 2/13 and the registration had been open for about a week.

In reading about all the tour cancellations, I was wondering - have there been any problems with the Ocean Discoveries class due to the ongoing issues with the tank in the Seas pavilion? DD10 just settled on that class for our January trip and I'd hate for her to get her heart set on it only to have the class cancelled because of the work going on in the aquarium.

chellewashere or anyone else who has taken How Things Move...

Could you post a review of the How Things Move class? DD5 is taking the class with DH in January. I'd also like to know where the class lets out so I can plan where to start our touring plan for the rest of the day.

Thanks!

It was a lot of fun and interesting for the kids. They teach you about the different types of motion and have the kids put little things together to make them move. We started out by the trolley depot to ask the kids about how they move then moved over to Rapunzels area and the kids built a simple little thing to show different types of movement. Then they rode the Winnie the Pooh ride and Dumbo. We had to leave early due to a BBB appt. (the class got a late start) but she said the last thing they were riding was the people mover. Be prepared to stand in line though, there is no front of the line pass and we stood in line for quite a while for Dumbo. All in all Lorelei had a fun time and asked if we could take a class next time we go cause she really enjoyed it.
Hope this helps. Have fun!!!

Two quick questions.

We are leaving Orlando on 7th Jan. I was wondering if we purchased the three day YES ticket, does one of the days have to be the day of the presentation or could we use all three tickets within the 7 days before.

Another quick question, if we purchased the starter package, is it one park per day or one park in total.

many thanks

Sue

The class itself requires park admission, therefore one of your days will have to be used on the class day.

That's what I was trying to say....:rotfl2:

The starter package is one park per day. It's a non-hopper ticket. If you're only going to have a few park days, and one of those has to be for your class, I think I'd probably go with hoppers if they fit in the trip budget. That way you could hit the highlights at all four parks. If you don't mind skipping a park or two though, then it's no big deal. Just remember that your tickets can't be upgraded, so you can't get non-hoppers and then change your mind later. ;)
