What happened if we miss the class because we woke up late. We're not early persons :)
The class that we plan to register start at 8:15 am.
The class is going to happen on the last day of our vacation. If we are late, can we still catch up the group? Can we still use our park ticket that day?

Thanks so much...I really appreciate all answers.

Last year, my son got strep. I called and let the leader know he wouldn't be able to make it. I have documentation that we went to the doctor. If you just don't show up, or don't have a valid reason, I suppose they could invalidate your tickets or at the very least, put you on a "black list" for getting YES tickets in the future. The class we are in for August has been closed b/c it is full and I have friends who wish they could get in. I would be mad if I knew someone missed it because they couldn't get out of bed, but that is just me.

Is anyone signed up for Everyday Chemistry on June 14th? The class still seems to be open and I hope it doesn't get canceled.

We are thinking about doing WDW 6/12 - 6/18 and I wanted to send my daughter to this class. However, when you click on it the next page which comes up lists this class as CLOSED. I was very disappointed as there are no other ones open that whole week. If you call and find out different let me know. There's a chance we may still go to WDW that week.

Just booked the Aug. 22 Physics Class at Magic Kingdom for all 4 of my kids! We saved over $400 on thier park tickets! So excited!

I know this info has been posted, but I'm not sure how to search this thread...

Can anyone tell me what the price of 7 and 10 day PH YES tickets are?
(Do they go up to 10 days? I can't remember what the maximum is.)

This was a very exciting thread to find. We are going next May and I would love to find one from my 2 DSs to do!!

In the last week or so, I've seen several people post here and another site that the 10 day YES ticket is no longer available and that 8 days is the max.:confused3

Oh I didn't know the class was closed. We already have our tickets and we enrolled in this class. I thought it was still open and I was worried that the class would be canceled if it didn't have enough participants.

Personally, I wouldn't sign up for the class if I were already wondering in advance if I'd be able to wake up in time for it. I'm not sure what happens, but I'd doubt that you could just catch up with the class later. We are signed up for an 8:15 class and I've specifically planned our park days so that we can get the kids to bed at a reasonable time and be up and ready to go on time the next morning for the class.

Thanks for the info.

We're not planning another trip until next year, so who knows if they'll even be offering the classes when we want to go. We've always gone with 10 day tickets, but last trip was a little long (since the kids are older and we didn't return to the resort for a nap/break every day). 8 days would probably be fine and if we want to stay longer I assume we could add the water parks and do those on the extra days?

lol, don't sign up for a class you won't make an effort to get to. My opinion. It sounds too much like a cheap ticket, might go to class situation. Also my opinion.

Our school bus does not arrive at our door to pick the kids up until after 8:30 (so they could sleep pretty late) and my pre-school kids wouldn't wake up until after 9. But, our first trip those kids were able to be up and out the door by 7:15 to make it to EMH rope drop every morning. :thumbsup2

We'll see you there!!!

It seems as though just from folks on this thread there should be enough people for this class for each age group. YAY!!!

Hi All,

I received a call from YES program today. The tickets are for immediate family only. (which means siblings, parents and grandparents) They did call me to confirm who was attending since I had 15 tickets.

We have 4 families and each family has at least 1 child attending on July 20th. :thumbsup2

The child that is registered and 1 adult chaperone will be able to get into the park early if the class is before the park opens. YAY!!:cool1:

The other people in your group will enter whenever they would like to. They use their tickets just like any other disney ticket the only difference is It was CHEAP and it has YOUTH printed on the back of it.

To be safe I gave my friends address so that the tickets will not be left outside my front door since I won't be home all day. They do not have to be signed for. The tickets usually arrive within 2 weeks. They charge you once they confirm that they have space in the program that you selected.

One last thought, if the program you select gets cancelled for any reason they will offer to add you to a different program but you are not obligated to do so and the tickets will still be valid. They are very strict about no shows and if this happens there is a possibilty of having your tickets voided or the program cancelled altogether in the future since some people may use this as a way to get cheap tickets.

We actually are using this as a way to get cheap tickets! Please tell me who isn't?

But, our teens are excited about the August 22 Physics class at MK, so it's a win/win from our perspective!

Just to confirm (it probably is somewhere on this thread but I don't have time to review the whole thing), but we can use these tickets to get FP's, correct? Are they paper, similar to an AP?

They are the same tickets that were issued to us when we did early ticket pick up from our package in February (not really paper.. like a thin cardstock kind of). They have pictures of characters on the front.. and yes they are usable in the FP machines:)

I should have added that some people use it to get cheap tickets and then don't attend the class. This would cause the program to be cancelled if it continued to occur. I too am only going to attend the class to get cheap tickets I would never want to be there at 7:15am for any other reason.:guilty:
