Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

I ordered our tickets on 3/14 and they arrived 3/23. The envelope was in the mailbox, not in the bushes, thank goodness! We're staying at Bay Lake and I didn't want the time and hassle of dropping in at Will-call at TTC, we have only 5 days so every hour is precious.
It feels great to have the tickets in hand though I have to admit that the fact that they're non-refundable scares me a bit--I might look into getting trip insurance?

Is it possible to get the dining plan with YeS individual enrollment tickets or do I have to get 1 day MYW tickets and turn my room only into a package?

In order to get the dining plan, you need to get 2 day MYW tickets now unless you have an AP room only reservation or a DVC reservation.

That's only for free dining. If you're buying the dining plan the minimum is still one day tickets. But as far as I know there's no way to get a package with any discounted tickets, YES included, unless you either buy the one day tickets or rent points for a DVC stay.

Thanks to the reply but boo to the answer. Just changed my December plans to September to save some money in various areas and to have DS attend the AK YES program. I guess I'm now hoping fd will be released for our dates now and crunch those numbers to see if there'd be any savings there.

are they allowing groups to form again?
do they have classes in November/December?

I didn't know that there was a rule against groups forming--I should have added, however, that I'm talking about Disneyland and not Disney World. I didn't know that they listed the class times for groups--I thought it was just for individual enrollment.

I just thought I had scanned this thread a few days ago and saw some were talking about them not letting others form there on groups? I could be wrong though, I'm on here so much lol

wondering if anyone has ever done the homeschool days presentation, there is one scheduled for Oct. 3. I emailed and they said individuals could do this program, just wandering what this one was about.

Each case is different, but USUALLY a room-only discount code used with YES park tickets would be a better savings than a Free Dining discount.

You are correct. Several people said they tried register with a "group" and were denied. You need to be an official group, like girl scouts, church youth group etc. with documentation to prove it to get tickets, unless it is during individual enrollment.

Has anyone had to sign for the tickets when they there delivered? I e-mail the YES program asking if I would be notified when the tickets are shipped and I was told that I would have to sign for package. Anyone recently get their tickets?

I got my tickets about four days ago via Fedex and did not have to sign for them. They left them on my front porch by the door.

I got my tickets after 2 and half weeks in between our screen door. Am I understanding correctly? I have a 3 day premium ticket (individual enrollment) that can actually be used for 6 days because of the fun visits. 3 days in the parks and then Typhoon Lagoon, Disneyquest and Blizzard Beach on additional 3 days? :)

I called to ask and they said I could not buy meal vouchers on individual enroll tickets.

My 12 y.o. son is going to the Chemistry class in June and I hope they get to do some hands-on activities. He loves doing that.

They also said I could use the tickets for fastpass! What a great program this is!

I got the tickets about 2 1/2 weeks after enrollment. It felt like it took a long time, and since my daughter doesn't know yet, it made me anxious.....They will be in an oversized, FEDEX envelope.

Yes, they told me a couple of weeks ago that the vouchers were not available any more.
