Disney Y.E.S. Program

Y.E.S. tickets are sold by an outside convention company. They are not transferable, extendable, convertible, or changeable in any way. They are only good for when and where they are labelled. You also cannot pay for them with Disney Rewards points, I've tried. I don't find them to be a very good value anymore because of the price hike and the restrictions.

Ok, thanks. I think that answers my question. Technically, what I'm trying to do is an exchange for a one day DL ticket so it likely won't work.

They are homeschoolers. They belong there more than the folks that just buy in because it is cheap. My opinion. I don't mean that to sound as curt as it sounds. :)

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I think the program is an incredible educational experience and that people who actually want the experience for their kids, not just to use it as a homeschooler ticket discount without attending, are the ones who belong there.

Rounding off
The price for 8 day premium tickets for the children attending went up $32 each
The price for 8 day premium for adult NOT attending went up $158
The price for 8 day premium for adult attending went up $171

Going to cost us roughly $396 more in 2013 than it did in 2012

But still saving us $291.35 off current gate prices. :goodvibes

This is exactly what I was looking for. Trying to round up some numbers for a possible trip next june. Thank you Disers!

I've been trying to get on the site to look at ticket prices all afternoon! Can anybody tell me if the site is down? Is it my computer?
Thank you!

My daughter is signed up for this class in August too (Aug. 27). Not sure if they go on any rides, but I know she's hoping they do. She can't wait to take this class so I'm hoping it's a good one. Anyone have any info on it?

We are signed up for this class as well, Myself, 12 yo daughter and 14 yo son. Looking forward to it!

When will you typically see the classes that are available for June of the following year. We are planning for June of 2014. DGS went last year and loved it. He would love to do another class next year.

Does anyone know where I can see the class descriptions and details? I know this page used to exist, but I can't find it now. Thanks!

You're the only person I've ever recognized on this forum so I'm just waving!!!

Long time no see Rebel friend!

Are Individual Enrollment classes still just offered Jan-Feb and June-Oct?

We are thinking about an April trip and my kids really enjoyed the Y.E.S. classes they took last summer. I didn't see any 2014 dates posted on the website yet, but I thought I would ask about what they offered this year.

Hi there : I'm a new YESer and I have a few questions

We are going as a Girl Scout Troop, but we are under the size needed for the group registration, we only have 5 girls and 2 adults.

According to Girl Scout guidelines, 2 adults must stay present with the girls, so we are going to do a split individual registration. I am the troop leader and plan on registering myself and 3 of the girls and my co-leader is going to do herself and the other 2 girls.

Do you have to pay the full price at time of registration ? Or do you just put down a deposit ? If so, how much ?

Also, I need some further written info about the usage of the tickets.

I need the parents to understand hard and fast that once the ticket is purchased for their girl that they are non-refundable, transferable, extendable, etc. Esentially understanding that if they do not attend the trip, they are out of the purchase and no refund will be given by Disney or the troop.

I'm sure it's part of the disclaimer during the registration process, but I need a written copy before we register to show the parents this is Disney policy.

Any ideas or links where I can get the written policy in advance of ticket purchase ?

Yes, that is EXACTYL what I need !

Thank you so much.

I have 1 parent that is really just difficult to work with and I want it to be plain and clear in writting before we purchase the tickets what the policy is.

You're welcome! Happy I could help! If you actually go through the process yourself to get to that page, you could do a screen capture and it would have the YES logo at the top and everything. It would look more official that way. :goodvibes

OK, I just got off the phone with Disney YES Individual and they were very helpful with info.

He too was able to point me to the policy, but he also gave some info about when to expect the schedule for summer 2014.

He said this year they weren't able to release the spring/summer schedule until Feb, but that this year they are hoping to have it in Oct for 2014 spring/summer.
