Disney Y.E.S. Program

We were part of the testing group last month. We were able to link our YES tickets to the band after we picked up our tickets. I was not able to use the confirmation code to link the tickets prior to our trip.

Awesome, this is great to know. We added two days to our trip due to a change in plans with transportation. We have yes tickets and are part of the MB testing now since one night will be at AoA. Glad to know once we get there I can log into MDE and get FP's.

When we went, we checked in around 4:00. We already had our Magicbands sent to our home in our chosen colors. (keeping checking your reservation for the Magicband color options to open) We immediately left the resort for Magic Kingdom Will Call. We easily picked up hard tickets with our Will Call papers. If I remember correctly, I immediately punched our ticket numbers into our Magic bands and they worked to get in the park. If not just use the hard ticket. I had trouble getting fp+ that night, but by the bus ride the next morning I was picking fp+ s. I found that I could pick fp+ times on the bus in the morning and they were all available. (I did not try parade or fireworks).

Question about the yes tickets, i got 6 day hoppers, they aren't good for six days in a row right? As long as we use them in the timeframe we are supposed to we can skip days right? We are planning to do universal too.

Yes.

Can someone link me to where I can register my kids NOT in a group? I used to be able to find it on google but no longer. We are not part of a large group, but do want to do this with the kids in December.

Thanks!

I don't know if this has asked on here before, and I don't know if anyone will know the answer since all of this is so new, but I thought I would ask.

We did the Individual YES program for my grandson last year and he loved it. We picked up the tickets at DTD. I am under the impression that you can't pick up the tickets until you actually arrive. With the new FP+ system, does this mean that you can't do your FP+ options online prior to going. It seems like with that new system, if you don't get your FP+ options chosen before your arrival, you may miss out completely on the opportunity to do that because most will be filled before the day of your arrival. Can one of you tell me if this is all correct? We would love for him to be able to do the YES program again next year, but would be a little disappointed if he and his parents could not do any of the FP rides with us. I hope this doesn't sound silly. Just trying to get all of our ducks in a row for our planning.

Thanks in advance!

* I think I just saw an answer for my question on a page or two back. *

As of right now, you won't be able to link them to your profile until you pick up the actual tickets, which means no FP+ selections until then. They in fact dson't guarantee advanced FP+ selections for all types of tickets as it stands right now - the "60 days" that are planned are only for MYW and AP tickets, and they say other ticket types could vary, so they may or may not be planning to fix this.

It is too early to tell if you'd "miss out completely".

My daughter was enrolled in "How Things Move" for 9/27/13. I got a call today that the class has been cancelled due to low enrollment. Yikes! They offered me two other alternatives, but they conflicted with my ADRs. Our schedule is already pretty planned out in advance! They said they understood about that, and that if we choose not to sub a different class, we can still use our park tickets without going to a class in this case since it is not our fault. So, maybe we'll get to do a class next time, but we are out for this trip. :(

First of all, I am NOT planning on doing this because my kids/family are genuinely interested in taking a YES class...

Let's say we are arriving on Sunday and leaving on Friday morning. What would happen if we enrolled in a class that is held on Friday?? Would we still get the tickets to use that week?

I ask for two reasons...first, I looked at some classes and it looks like there is only one class that my 5-year-old niece would qualify for and it is on the last day of our planned trip. She would not be able to attend the class and still make it back in time for DME pickup. Second, what would happen if the flight was scheduled for the evening (meaning we could make it to the class) but then the flight gets moved earlier??

Like I said, my kids and nieces are very interested in going to the classes (my daughters are begging to do more than one!) but I want to make sure that there wouldn't be some sort of penalty if circumstances arose that made us miss a class.

I haven't gone back and read anyone else's comments on this, but we were just able to link our willcall # for our YES tickets to MDE and it looks like I'm going to be able to make FP+ arrangements for at least part of my trip! Will let you all know how it turns out! When I'm finally able to get the pages to load!!!

Can anyone tell me when the dates for January are supposed to come out? We were hoping to still be there when the first class comes out since my kids love the classes but the website keeps saying its not valid dates yet.

I think it's usually in October.

Wow that is surprising. We are taking the Animal Behaviours class on October 1. I just looked and the class is still has openings, hopefully it won't cancel it.

I was able to link my tickets too. We however are not at a resort with Magic Bands, (AKL Kidani), so no fastpass+ for us.

I am still planning at picking up my tickets from the guest services at Downtown Disney. I don't know if I need to but I would rather keep my tickets separate from my room keys. I am wishing I hadn't linked them.

YES tickets cannot be added to KTTW cards...at least they didn't used to before they jumbled everything for the magicbands. :)

Check your profile again though. All the resorts have since been added to the "test", but it appears they are staggering the check-in dates so it isn't all at once.
