Disney Y.E.S. Program

Can someone please tell me who I can call to upgrade my tickets. if this is possible? I bought 5 day premiums and want to upgrade to 8 day premium.

Also, I have two separate reservations ,one under my name and the other under my husbands. Can I call for both, or does he have to call?

YES tickets can't be upgraded or changed.

Has anyone joined together to form a group during the non-individual enrollment times? Does Disney allow it?

I was wondering that also. We are going in December and would of loved my grandchildren to attend a class. I really wish they would have classes when we are going.

We attended last August and it was very good. Unfortunately they do not offer it during April when we plan to go next. I'm going to call and ask.

Several people here have reported recently that they called and were able to make changes. I think it just needs to be done prior to your arrival.

Minniemomof3- You can always call and ask. I definitely wouldn't wait until your trip because that will likely be too late to allow any changes.

If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, you can call and have them changed and pay the difference. Some people here have done it. Once they are issued, they are not upgradeable. We are leaving next Thursday and I plan to add water parks/DQ to the 2 tickets we didn't originally had that on. I know someone posted the phone number, so I'll go look.

So, the number is 407-472-4676. I called and Dave answered the phone. He was able to upgrade my hoppers to premium tickets. He said sometimes it is not possible to make changes closer to your arrival date, but we are arriving July 6th and he was able to do mine. BTW, I told him that he has a reputation for good customer service over on the Disboards and he was very humble that he's just doing his job. Gotta love a guy like that!

Newbie to YES program here-just learned about it.

Do they offer individual enrollment in May?

What time of day are the classes?

When do you know if a class will run? Did I read 2 weeks prior? so if it doesn't run, then you must buy regular priced park tickets?

So the prices listed include the YES program for child and 1 parent (child is 7) as well as park passes for child and both parents (immediate family)?

How hard is it to get into a program? It doesn't seem well advertised but I imagine it must be popular?

You know, this has me thinking. When I receive exemplary customer service, I like to make sure the manager/supervisor knows. Since I have gotten such great service from Dave, and I know other have too, how do you think we should let someone know that? I thanked D many times on the phone for helping us out, but wouldn't it be great if his boss knew too? I'm pretty sure he doesn't work for Disney, but a third party - any suggestions?

I don't know. He answered the phone, so I don't know who to tell. Maybe if we send a snail mail letter to the address on our confirmations?

Student Guest Services, Division of CONVENTIONPLUS® LLC
4201 Vineland Rd., I-7, Orlando, FL 32811

and address it to the Disney YES program supervisor? Or maybe we can ask when we pick up our tickets for how to contact the supervisor?

Someone here made this website, which might help with your questions...

Really? That's good to know. I guess it depends on who you talk to when you call.

I think it depends more on the timeline. Dave said I may not be able to make changes, because my trip is less than 2 weeks away, but when he went in the system, he saw it could still be done.

How would they even know? What about scouting groups?

They want documentation of the group. We have friends who had a hard time getting Disney to recognize their legitimate, long-standing homeschool co-op as a group because they don't have any documents from a chartering organization (like a scout troop would) or other formal/official documentation, just a group website and Yahoo e-mail loop.

I guess I might be in luck as I'm a girl scout troop leader and several of my brownies would be going. I guess I'll call to confirm.

I think you have to have 10 kids(at least) in your group.

Just back... my daughter went to the Ocean Discoveries class.. it was great! We arrived at the Epcot Flag Pole around 8:30 and our class was finished around 11:15 or so.. the class had around 25 and we broke off in group of 7 or 8. It was perfect and educational! Great class! My daughter looks forward to taking another class on our next trip...

I am going the first week in October and the Wild by Nature class had opened up and I was able to switch around my classes so my son and I could go no problem. We spoke with Dave and he was really nice. It can't hurt to try.:)

Can anyone that has attended the Wild by Nature program tell me if the students see any spiders? My daughter has Arachnophobia and I really don't want her to be traumatized if she attends this!
