It was my 11 y.o. ds and 8 y.o. dd. Now my 11 y.o. ds is gifted and I have to admit I thought he would be bored with the class...but he actually really enjoyed it and loved being smart enough to know the answers for some of the question's the CM's were asking(he reads about everything you can imagine and remembers the info).
My 8 y.o. dd loved it too and even got a magical moment for guessing the one thing right that everyone else got wrong.(not gonna tell too much...would spoil it).
We started at the Tree of life and went to where the bats are and such...did a few things there, then over to Africa to discuss/learn some things about the animals and then break up into mini-teams before going on the safari.
All along the way when you are walking the leader will have you stop and look at things and asks lots of questions. The more involved you are the more fun it will be for you!
Be sure to bring a water bottle along with you as you will get thirsty!![]()
Thanks for the information! How many kids were in the class all together?
