We normally drive down to the World from the Philadelphia area but we are considering flying when we go in July. I have been down and used Magical Express and intend to use it again in July. My concern is about transportation after we visit the world. We are going to stay for 7 days at Boardwalk Villas and then for 2 nights at Vero Beach. If I fly down and don't have a car, is there any "Disney" transportation to Vero? Would I just be best to rent a car and drive to Vero and then return it when I return to go to the airport?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Sunking

Boardwalk then Vero Beach is DW's favorite Disney combination. You are gonna have to drive to get to VB, so rent a car at the Dolphin and return it at the airport.
When we go to Disney's Vero Beach resort we like to fly out of West Palm - PBI; but MCO will do fine too, just a little further. I think SWA serves both PBI and MCO non-stop from Philly, so you should be in great shape.

Have fun!

Oh, how fun! :cool1: Looks like you've had the transportation questions covered and realize there is no "Disney" transportation to/from VB. We drove from Illinois once and as a treat, we spent 2 extra days at VB...just loved it! Very relaxing and their beach area is super-clean, just perfect. It really spoils you for any other trips to the ocean which aren't always so clean and beautiful:love: Have a wonderful time.

Rental car or van. We were glad we had one while there, too, because we were able to stop at an Orchard and buy some fresh fruit, try out some local restaurants, and DH was able to take a fishing excursion down the coast. We also hit the grocery store one night for dinner fixin's and cooked in our villa - then dined outside on the balcony.

I love not being stuck to the resort =) Have fun - it's gorgeous!
