The flood is about park reservations not new resort stays.Call my "uninformed" but I finally got a chat session going. I wanted to book a new resort reservation for 7/15-/719 2020. I thought this was open but according to chat that is not the case.So I don't know what the flood on the website is for?
It's for those folks with current resort reservations and valid media attached to the stay.Call my "uninformed" but I finally got a chat session going. Were you able to get unblocked and book more days or are you still waiting for them to open it for everyone? Finally made it through to a CM after about 3 hours total (disconnected twice). I was one of the AP+DVC vacations that hit a 3-day reservation limit. He had to submit an IT ticket to get it unblocked, but it did sound like they are working on for all AP holders.
However, it does sound like they are able to unblock a single person/group. I asked about renewing my Annual Pass so I could start reserving for my Dec-Jan trip (we originally were going to renew in May), and he said I could call back around the end of July to have them unblock those dates for me, even though I will not be able to renew until October (or later depending on any additional extensions).
I am about to swear. Fingers in ears everybody! There is an AP holder glitch. It has you reach your limit at anywhere between 1-20 days, no rhyme or reason.
Thank you, so I wonder why mine aren't available.
Okay, wait-- someone is saying that they're purging all AP reservations?!
I am not AP But I am having this issue you think they can fix this for me too? Were you able to get unblocked and book more days or are you still waiting for them to open it for everyone?

seems like that should limit the flood of people even trying to go things on there. jsThe flood is about park reservations not new resort stays.
You might close everything out or open another tab, then go back in from the Disney website, I don’t think that orbit is a place holder. The link on the first page of this forum is what I used.Mine’s still orbit. Hasn’t changed for a while.
New 2020 onsite resort reservation bookings and ticket sales are not yet available and will come "later this summer". This is people trying to make park reservations, a new thing that we need. Today, people with a qualifying resort reservation (mostly onsite) and linked tickets can reserve a park to visit on days of their trip.Call my "uninformed" but I finally got a chat session going. I’m with you!!! Total waste of my entire day.I have never been more frustrated. Have no idea when or if I will ever get through for reservations. July 15 is our check in and just can’t believe how terrible this system is.
I got that around the 1.75 hour mark. Was like that until almost 2.5 hours when I got a CM on the line. Who then hung up when trying to transfer me.I have been on hold for 1 hour with just silence. I got through and put in my information such as phone number, name, etc... and went through the queue, but no usual Disney music. Just stone cold silence.Well, I do get an occasional static sound, so not entirely silent.
