Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

Guys- please please reply to me if you know the answer to this- it won’t let me book my July trip. I have my December trip booked for 7 day.. I need to book 5 more for July. They’re saying it’s capping people’s days.. so we think they’ll eventually fix this or am I screwed
A lot of us are having the same issue. The CM I talked to said it was a Glitch and we SHOULD be able to book all of our resort days. She put in an IT ticket for me - from the other posts it sounds like the same is being done for other people to. I would call them so they have your name and contact info for when they get around to fixing this. This is so very frustrating!
 
Anyone else thinking is was a really BAD idea for Disney to choose the pink castle to display for all of their IT fail pages? At this point, I am at the point of never wanting to see a castle again!! Trying really hard to not get frustrated with this whole debacle.
super frustrated but I know Ill forget once I set foot infront of the real castle and feel the disney magic again

There is no cap on days. A few folks in this thread have several trips (20+ days) and were able to get park reservations.
 

Thank you for asking about that. To have your reservations purged after going through all of this would be gut-wrenching!
Thank Goodness!!!!!!!!! I was so stressed about that even though logically I told myself it was just a rumor!
 
FYI IF YOU ARE AN AP HOLDER
I have been going over several threads and there seems to be a glitch in the AP system that is inconsistent. Some AP holders can make reservations for days across multiple stays (the largest I saw someone make was 11 days over 3 different stays) and some cannot even get more than 1 day across their entire resort stay. A lot of people are being told they reached their limit once they make 3 days of reservations. The site told me I had reached my limit after reserving 6 days (still have 2 to go).
I just hope this gets fixed soon

I'll probably forget it 5 minutes after it is all resolved, but for now - I'm glad I'm not the only one - and glad to have a place to vent to! Anyone else would not even understand how much time I've already put in trying to get park days LOL
 
If anyone is still having issues - earlier in the day the trick to getting in, when you were still stuck on the countdown or the pink castle screen, was to find an alternate means of actually logging in. Those countdown and pink castle screens are just waiting to get you to the login prompt - I believe. So this was the trick to do:

Open the main mydisneyexperience page:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/

Do not hit the login....instead, go to find a Dining Reservation. Select any dates and search for any available ones out there - click the available time and it will take you to the login screen where you can login. After that it will direct you to finalize the reservation...hit the CANCEL button on the bottom left. This will send you back to the main screen

At this point, it may say you are signed in (hopefully) or may say you still need to sign in (not sure if that will happen for all), but at this point just use the pulldown to the Disney Park Pass System...I think this might be the direct link:

She had no solution, she ended up saying that one of my parties, my niece, (who I booked/paid for in initial reservation, is staying in our room and on my package with all of us) has multiple other tix listed in her account besides the one associated with this reservation, Daveena said that my niece needs to call and let them know to use that particular ticket for September...????? Completely idiotic, the system wouldn't let me book any parks on any of our tickets. It was a waste of time for me to stay on chat with her

Definitely call and also keep trying online. I just made them all online around 8:30 am. I’m sure it is some kind of glitch and the system is probably just overwhelmed.
 
try the Dining Login hack I mentioned above..others have also mentioned it.
This is how I was able to get my FIRST reservation this morning. And then the system glitched and when i click on dining it takes me to either the castle screen or the millennium falcon or the space mountain screen. I have been on those screens for over an hour now. So that's not a sure-fire way to work-around the login. (I have already cleared my cache/cookies, so i HAD to re-log in after getting the 'no availability' screen for 2 hours on 4 different browsers.)

This is what I did: I went to the dining reservation page. Made a random homecomin reservation. While gong thru the motions of that, I was directed to sign in. I was able to sign in. I DID NOT go to “my plans”. I went to the Disney parks reswrvation tab that used to give instructions for how to do it before the site went live. It’s a section you can choose under the my Disney experience drop down. This allowed me to make my reservations.
 
can anyone confirm if all parks really have no availability Dec 6-17. I can't get anything those days.
I know it sounds silly to say...because you likely have been trying what I’m about to suggest from reading previous posts, but have been refreshing the park pass selection page repeatedly? Some people said they did so for up to 20 minutes before getting parks to show availability for their whole trip.
 
Finally, got through to a CM at 2 hours and 20 minutes. She could not help me with my inability to make ressies with an AP and DVC reservation. Tried to transfer me and the call dropped.

that has happened to my husband earlier this morning, the second CM he got after a 2 hour wait ended up transferring him to her "supervisor" and he got a voicemail instead.
