Disney World Releases 2026 After Hours Dates

Im an AP holder and the dates line up my trip in May.

Since I’m AP it feels like a waste of money to buy an additional ticket for a park when I already have one prepaid ticket.

If the waittime is anything like the EE hours then it’s definitely not worth it. I tried the EE in June at Epcot and dang the waittimes were long.

They are significantly better IF the headliners aren’t dealing with operational issues.

We got a few rides in on Cosmic Rewind in under 40m, and then somebody (not sure person or service animal?) had a bowel movement outside the doors leaving the second pre-show, line got craaaazy long, briefly shut down (I think?) and stayed above 50 for the next hour or so.

I wish they had "Early Extra Hours" I am too old to be up until 1. I could go for a 6 AM open at MK " breakfast with Mickey" event.
Same here. I remember years ago, they had an after-hours event and it only cost less than $15. And more importantly I could stay awake for it. Nowadays, realistically, although I think about going to one, I know I'd be too tired.

It is much cheaper to buy the LL, ride what you want during the day, and go to bed at a decent hour. I don't even bother with MM and that is free. I did the MNSSHP this month and left after the parade as it was more crowded than the park in the daytime.

Although I've enjoyed the after hours event I've done in the past at Magic Kingdom, it does tend to mess up two days of the vacation. The day of the event, we have to ensure we have a chill morning/afternoon that includes a nap so we can stay awake for the late hours. Then the next day we are too tired after the event to do any rope drop, so it messes that up too. I was initially interested when I saw the dates and that we'd be there for two of the after hours events, but I'm having trouble making it make sense for us.

I do feel like when you do an after hours event you have to have resort day the day of and resort day the day after or we typically fly home the next day just not real early if we can avoid it.

This lines up with our Disney Cruise pretty well...Can fly in and Do after hours on the 22nd at Magic Kingdom, rest on the 23rd and cruise on the 24th. My question is, how far in advance do these events sell out?

I see a couple that line up with my January trip!!! (Epcot and DHS)
How fast do these sell out?
I'm scheduled to check out of BWV the day of the events at Epcot & then DHS... what would be my best way to change my plans to stay at BWV another night or two? lol

I assume these have no availability (too close to bother), so it would be some crazy lucky waitlist, then cancel those nights at BLT?
January isn't all that close I bet you could snag an extra night at BW
I got my waitlist, now i have to decide when to bite the bullet & purchase After Hours Tix... how soon do they sell out?
I'm going in 2 weeks, & i'd really like to wait until i get back to purchase, but now that my waitlist came through i feel like i'd be really bummed if my AH nights sold out!!

Yep, i am excited for sure... I'm going to be able to walk to & from DHS After Hours to BWV, and then use the Monorail to & From Epcot After Hours to BLT. :)

Now i'm just nervous one will sell out. lol

Hopefully an After Hours Guru will chime in soon.

After Hours do tend to sell out.

If you have your heart set on going I would personally bite the bullet and buy the tickets for the dates you need. If you have to cancel you won't get refund, but Disney will let you apply the value of the DAH ticket to another special event like MNSSHP, MVMCP, or another DAH.

Oh, that is great news.!! Yes i am skeptical, but i really would hate to miss out now.

ahhh yes, WDW is much easier when it comes to after hours, its not like DLR with its no cancel policy.
Yep, that is good to know, i once had to give away some retro night tix at DLR. :(
