Disney World MultiPass Scheduling Woes

That doesn't make any sense. So, I clicked Figment by mistake and I am forever stuck with it? On the MODIFY page nearly EVERY ride is at 9-10AM which isn't true so there's definately a data issue.
That doesn't make sense as it would be trying to add a 4th pass? Either way, that's a defect in the system.
No, you aren't stuck with it, and no it is not trying to add a 4th pass.

Your Figment LL is booked around 9AM currently so the system won't let you book or modify anything in the 9-10AM hour. The earliest it will let your 2nd lightning lane be booked is around 10AM, then the third around 11AM.

If rides are saying they are available at 9 that you prefer over Figment, then you would have to modify your figment to the new ride you are looking for at 9. If you want to keep a figment LL, then you would modify figment to later in the day, then modify a different LL to the new ride around 9AM then modify Figment to an earlier time again. But it will probably now be after 10 or 11 depending on what else you have chosen. Your 9AM figment is why it will not let you book anything else from 9-10

You aren’t stuck with it forever. You just have to cancel it and then book a different ride if it’s prior to your visit. The day of you can modify it. I had to do the same for one of my days a few weeks. It’s really not a big deal.

You don't have to agree with us but you are simply wrong, and it does indeed make sense. The bulk of LLMP for Epcot on Nov. 3rd are still available at times between 9-10 AM right now!

Maybe you will believe Thrill Data which pulls data directly from Disney's MDE system. Try this link: https://www.thrill-data.com/lightning-lane and scroll down to Epcot and Nov. 3rd and read the data for your self.

Universal can build a park in a few years but Disney can't get LLMP scheduling to work properly! I am booking early November (Jersey Week) at Epcot and booked Figment at 9AM for a burner. I tried to switch to Pixar @ 9AM which is AVAILABLE under MODIFY but it goes immediately to 11:40AM. This is true for literally EVERY single day. You get false hope on the MODIFY plan screen only to get a MUCH later time. The ONLY thing I can think of is the 5 MIN window save from someone else but it's literally EVERY SINGLE one.
Do you have a dining reservation blocking it?

Again, why cannot I not replace the 9-10AM pass with a DIFFERENT ride? I picked Figment but I COULD have picked X ride. There's zero reason not to allow the switch. I am TRYING to do exactly what you are saying: FIGMENT @ 9AM -> MODIFY PLAN -> PIXAR @ 9AM. In fact, I know 100% the system is wrong because it is saying RIGHT now that Frozen Ever After is available at 9AM and we KNOW that's not possible.

Oh, I am not trusting Disney to cancel. :) I will try and modify it day-of but again, there's zero reason to not allow me to do it now.

I don't think I am wrong because I cannot think of a reason why I cannot replace a 9AM Figment with another 9AM ride such as PIXAR. I've done that countless times including TODAY at MK. As I mentioned above, when I modify Figment, it's showing Frozen as available for 9AM. ALL rides are still available at 9:XXAM. The LATEST is Turtle Time w/ Crush at 9:50AM which makes even less sense and doesn't match the Thrill Data.

Do you have a dining reservation? Assuming no, there is no reason to cancel. Just modify it to the 11;40, then modify it back. It will allow you do this. There is nearly zero risk here given what’s currently still available. You’re not trying to get an in demand ride here. This may also have to do with how your rides are overlapped. Disney allows you to overlap more with the initial bookings than with subsequent modifications (except for day of when it all goes out the window). What time is your second and third ride?

Are you afraid to cancel because you think the other ride won't be available at 9 am? These aren't high demand LL. You'll be fine.

You may think there's no reason to allow you, and others probably feel the same way, but it's just the way it is right now and there are workarounds. I have no idea why Disney decided to have the modify feature different before arrival vs. day but it's the way it is right now.

No dining. I am worried the times are all wrong and I won't be able to change it back. 9AM figment is fine as I doubt it will make much diff if I had it to use on the back end of the day.

My OCD won. I changed FIGMENT @ 9AM to Pixar @ 11:40AM. Then, Pixar was still available at 9AM so I switched to that but it only allowed 9:10AM. Sigh.

It's not going to give you 9 am because you already have 9 am booked for Figment. Cancel your Figment and then make the Pixar and it should work. This happened to me last trip when I was trying to modify my AK day.
Thanks for this. I have to book mine for December trip. This is helpful to know
