Will there be a Disney discount past September 2021? We are planning a trip in December and are anxiously awaiting a discount.

No one knows for sure. It will all depend on how well resort bookings are going when the current promotion, that was just announced today, expires. Judging from the rather small discounts that are being offered for summer, I wouldn't hold out much hope for anything big or much in the way of available discounted rooms after the October 1 start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
