Disney Wonder September 3, 2012. Seattle to Vancouver 7 night Alaska Cruise!

We also booked GTY in hopes of an upgrade. Currently there are 19 different room categories available on this cruise. That tells me there is a lot of empty rooms still

I did a stateroom search of every category (because I am nuts) and found 119 rooms available, as of yesterday.

Disney seems to cap it at 8 rooms per category, in cases where there are more than 8 rooms available. So there could be more than 119.

So what does that mean for us?

So what does that mean for us?

It means that there are plenty of rooms left :)

For example, These stateroom options show up for category 9. They only show a max of 8 rooms per category so they don't give too many choices (or show actual availability).

09a - 8 (deck 6) (6022, 6522, 6020, 6520, 6514, 6012, 6512, 6010)
09b - 8 (deck 2) (2572, 2062, 2078, 2578, 2060, 2580, 2086, 2058)
09c - 8 (deck 2) (2510, 2008, 2006, 2506, 2136, 2004, 2504, 2002)
09d - 8 (deck 1) (1058, 1054, 1044, 1040, 1038, 1036, 1034, 1032)

Interesting...I looked at our category (11) and there were only 3 available for 11C. I think there were more for B and A but I'm not sure if they had any linked rooms. Our two staterooms are linked reservations so they're going to try to honor that. Fingers crossed!

Yes, only 3 for 11c when I checked... I also saw no rooms were available for 10a the other day, then 6 showed up the next day... so I can't figure out their process... here is what I researched for that category :)

11c - 3 (2021, 2017, 2509)
11b - 8 (6321, 6315, 6313, 6141, 6415, 6303, 6101, 6111)
11a - 8 (7119, 7619, 7123, 7125, 7127, 7009, 6583, 6085)
10c - 8 (2631, 2139, 2639, 2141, 2641, 2147, 2135, 2635)
10b - 8 (2077, 2577, 2575, 2079, 2579, 2073, 2573, 2081)
10a - 6 (7505, 7003, 7503, 5022, 5020, 5520)

I'm determined to find out! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the research!

I booked gty navigators August 14th and was assigned the 1st week of September. I think our upgrade pixie dust is non-existent because there's only 2 of us. Navigators only accommodate 3 so we're a good match. I'm thrilled to be onboard and happy with our room assignment. BUT one (with motion sickness issues) can secretly wish for an upgrade to a verandah midship. :) Maybe Mickey will surprise us all with some nice gty upgrades in the next 4 weeks!!!

Yeah, I definitely would have been thrilled with the category I booked GTY for, but won't turn down the pixie dust, either! ;)

I am pulling for upgrades all around since it seems like the ship isn't filling up anyway! We won't let you sleep in the hall! Ha! ;)

So here is a question I had, and I'm sure others will need the answer as well, so I'll ask it here, for everyone's benefit! I'm planning on mailing a box with all my FE gifts and a few other things to myself on the cruise, but every place I look for the address I send it to gives me the address in Florida. I'm thinking there has to be a different address for ships sailing out of Seattle. Does anyone have that address?

TIA!

I found some info. This was found on the " Address to Ship Box to Seattle" thread, Post # 2 by ex-techie. This post will give the address, and the phone number for Seattle Port. Less than one month to go!:cheer2:

Thanks Cinderelly! You know that with my low- tech ability, i was not sure how to post the link. Maybe you can teach me how? Due to the fact that I have only seven posts, the system will not allow me to post the link in this response.

Dear thnlk, I am getting ready to organize and pack the adult fe's, but i did not see any info on the fe list about you. Could you please give general info for me. I really appreciate it, and so look forward to meeting you all.

Tracy and Heather married 22 years. Have two adult children but traveling without them. We booked GTY so no stateroom number yet. Is there anything else you would like to know?

We just did a zombie 5k today what a hoot.

Thank you so much for the info. I am finishing up on the fe's and trying to make sure who are traveling as familys or friends, so as to make sure everyone gets to take something home. I noticed that there are up to2- 3 adults to some of the rooms that live in different homes or places. So if i give one gift per room then someone goes without. I so want everyone to enjoy this fe. Your info has helped. My husband and i have been married for 28 years and have no children. We are enjoying getting the gifts for the children soooo much, the adult fe's were fun also. We could keep on going with this but all good (fe making and buying) must come to an end. Thanks to everyone for a fun fe:goodvibes.

AWESOME ON THE 5K:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Thanks for the info. I had never thought of mailing stuff to ourselves. Probably alot cheaper than paying baggage fees on the plane. I wonder how reliable the mailing will be. Appreciate your looking into this and sharing.:)

About the rooms, I think because of the inability for some people to stay on the ship, or whatever the deal was, to go ship to ship back down to LA from this cruise, there are a LOT of people dropping off this cruise so tons of rooms are opening up. I really wished I could get an upgrade, but don't think they will do that with the DVC. I'm down in the guts of the ship in an inside room. I'd really like to be moved to an outside room, but really doubt it. maybe I can ask when on the ship. If lots of rooms are just sitting there open, why not be able to move to them...
