Ok now I'm really confused... First I wanted to do Atlantis but that is expensive..(though I really want to take the walking tour). Then I saw pics of the shopping area and thought it would be so neat to walk through.. and by not doing Atlantis we would have time for a "real beach"... that is if they have one. I'd like Emma to see a real beach and ocean, not just a protected cove. I'm not sure what I will do. The Atlantis walk through would allow us to para sail at castaway cay and hubby was able to handle the Jamaican markets which I can't imagine Nassau could be worse than that. I wonder how quickly we could do all three and get back to the boat. I'm really starting to like the idea of being on the boat.

As far as the markets, you can take as much or as little time as you want. Once you go thru the first couple rows, it's all the same stuff...

There are some public beaches if you want to go to a beach and not pay for Atlantis.

Blanche_Neige I like shade also and WHAT BAD THING about Nassua. My husband is going to kill me if it's bad... He doesn't like the idea of leaving the country because of "bad things". I thought it was safe. shwarren70 believe it or not I would be totally calm and patient and it wouldn't bother me what the 2 yr old did, and I'm not sure why, I'm sure it's the age. Now by 4 of 5 ... I would skin them alive..

I kinda doubt that. I think we have to be on the ship at 5? I dont think sunset will be near that time would it? I dont know a thing about Eastern Time zone. In December sunset is around 4:30 but not sure about October.

In NC right now, the sun is setting around 8:30. I would assume it would be close to the same down in Florida.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been mia the past week or so. I have no computer (writing this from my phone) and I just haven't been in the mood. I had to put my dog Riley down. He was like a family member and it was really tough.

Time changes 1st weekend of November, so sunset will probably be in the 6 range on the cruise.

Unfortunately because everybody was spending too much time on facebook and texting... I Know, I know, I'm being the BAD guy... But, don't tell me you can't get your job done when we can account for at least 2 hours some people were spending on line (and not during their break or lunch). I want to give people room to be flexible, but don't take advantage, you know?

And... Cool, I finally figured out the multi-quote thing. Not that it was hard, I just hadn't taken the time.

I found this website for predicting when sunrise/sunset is

Fl and Bahamas are roughly the same. According to this website during our cruise:

Sunrise approx: 7:18am
Sunset approx: 7:11pm

They will also let us know the exact time on the Navigator.

Cheryl-I am so sorry about your furbaby!!! We have one dog and two cats and they are our kids. So I know what you are going through right now. I have had dogs and cats my whole life and had to put my cat down a few years ago all by myself and it was awful.
