Just letting you all know that my uncle passed away just before noon. He was very peaceful and just slipped away. We are still trying to reach all of the family and let them know.

So I set off the alarm at the new house today, and it's not even suppose to be set up!! Called to get a quote for monthly fees on it, and the lady is like does it light up when you press a button, so the hubby goes and presses one, and goes yep it lights up. So we hang up as we want to think about it first, and my DH goes, uhh it says it's on. Do you think that means it is actually on, and I'm like no, there isn't even an active alarm on it. So we try opening the door, and the 40 second count down starts, and once it ends, the alarm sounds. And no, it isn't a quiet alarm, it is louder than hell, and I'm on the phone with ADT, and they are like hmmm...there isn't really anything we can do, you're going to have to find this box and this one, and disconnect it... really?? REALLY?? So after like 15 minutes, we got it fixed. That was fun, and now my head hurts!

I am so sorry for you guys. Praying for strength. What a way to start your cruise. But then again, you wont have to constantly worry if he was ok while you were gone. Just remember we are sad for your loss, where he is, is absolutely fantastic!!

Jen, the ironic thing is that our cruise was originally scheduled for this week, and we were going to leave today instead of on Tuesday. So glad I'm here this week. But, I had mixed up the weeks that Aubrey was out of school, and rescheduled for next when she is out.

Jen, the ironic thing is that our cruise was originally scheduled for this week, and we were going to leave today instead of on Tuesday. So glad I'm here this week. But, I had mixed up the weeks that Aubrey was out of school, and rescheduled for next when she is out.

Well, I came into work yesterday and my boss called me about an hour later and she told me today was her last day! We knew it was happening, but didn't know when. We figured it would be quick, but not that quick!

Anyway, they are signing the company over today. The legal department was able to get me transferred into their department, so hopefully that bides me more time. (I help our legal dept. out as well)...still don't know but I hope I'm here through October at least, and hopefully November...(even more of course would be better, but no one knows what's going to happen yet).

I was here for 12 hours yesterday as I just didn't feel right leaving before my boss. It was weird. The movers were here and everything for her, her dad, her uncle and her brother. (Her grandfather started the company)

I still have so much to do! Have to finish packing and still have to pick up a few things! Eek!

It's going to be one of those things where I get up at like 1am to finish the morning we have to leave or something and I promised myself I wasn't going to do that this time!! I still have 4 nights, so hopefully I can get everything done that I need to.

Ok, gotta run, I'll try to at least lurk later...hope everyone's good, Jackie!!! I'm so excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
