I went through triple A. (They will block out the name if the company is banned from being mentioned/or posting here.) I have heard of Tim Larison, I believe he was one of the TAs that I originally contacted for a quote. There are many recommended TAs here on the DIS but the best I have heard is SueEllen from DU. I have friends who have used her many times, I should have listened and gone with her. I chose AAA because I thought it might be easier to go through my local office in case of a problem. Little did I know that they'd BE the problem.taeja71 said:Lisa and Dawn, may I ask who your TAs are? I went through ******. But I feel like we had more control when we booked directly through Disney. Now I have to go through my TA (the middle man).

I purchased AAA's insurance when I booked our cruise. Since we booked so far in advance, I thought it was safer to be protected from the onset. Living in Florida, I figured it can't have too much protection when it comes to hurricanes. Hopefully, that won't be a problem for us!
I am excited about our SPH rooms. I did a lot of research before booking. My TA didn't even know what the SPH rooms were, I had to give her actual room numbers to look for. We didn't get an upgrade but we didn't lose our SPH rooms when our cruise dates switched. We weren't charged any extra either, thank GOODNESS!!! SHEEZ!
On another topic, we picked up some pirate wear at WDW this past weekend. I have my shirt now, and DH bought the Mickey ears with the pirate bandana attached. I already ordered (and they were already BACKordered) new T shirts for my DSs from Disneyshopping.com. They're the new Dead Man's Chest design. I just got an email that they finally shipped. DD also got a cute pirate outfit, it's track pants with the cartoon-like pirate girl head on the shirt. Now she has the choice of wearing that outfit, or her pirate costume, at the pirate party. Always the fashionista.
