Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006

Here's a sort of happy note. I just finished watching a show about gingerbread houses at WDW (specifically the Grand Floridian (GF)). Saw the holiday foods WDW parks provide. Every thing looked so yummy. Bad part is, the show is over. Sorry, I didn't catch the show title. The kids and I saw it on the Food network. I'm having feminine problems (really bad cramping) so its tough to focus on typing.

Vicki- I hope the storm doesn't get to you all before you head off to work. I hope the storm reaches you while you're working and leaves once you are ready to head home. Another highlight for you, we'll get the storm before you

I know I am not new but....

We are driving down to stay at my parents on Friday and Saturday. They live about 40-45min from the port. Not sure what we are going to do.

My youngest has been checking on me and stroking my arm saying, 'poor mama, poor mama'. She's being super sweet, which is great. All I want to do is curl up and not move (which is impossible since I've got 2 of the 3 here at home today).

Purplern said, I cant think of anything to get DS.

Vicki, have you thought about getting your DS some more electronic gadgets to enchance what ever he may already have or to replace something that's older? This wouldn't be the best gift, but I know I'd appreciate a loaded gas card certificate. Maybe that could be a stocking stuffer idea.

I'll be sure to let you all know about tomorrow's arriving weather. It's supposed to reach us just in time for after work traffic.

No problem. Try some warm RASPBERRY tea. The raspberry should help the "cramps". It works for me-but it could be pyscological too!

Nooooo.. it can't snow this weekend!!!

I've got to work Saturday night at 6:30-whenever I can convince them to let me leave and drive to Morgantown (WV) to meet my brother and then drive to Pittsburgh to catch a 7:30 AM flight to the World Sunday morning!! Noooo snow, I don't have time for snow!!..

Just finished watching Samatha Brown does WDW during the holidays. I couldn't get up fast enough to post about it.

Okay, people here at work just said it "might" snow today/tonight. Keep that stuff up there!!! I moved to SC because I thought it didn't snow here. Needless to say, if it does snow, this will not be good for me.

O.k., here's this morning's report. (Boy, I'm starting to sound like Rafiki!). I let the dogs out about 9ish and for about an hour it was lightly snowing. The snow was falling slowly (w/ no wind). So far, we have a light dusting. I'll keep you all posted on how the rest of the day's going. It's here. Blech!

I wish I was crusing right now. O.k., back to reality. Gotta get the kids ready and out the door. Post ya later!

We have a winter storm Warning in effect from Now until Friday morning. They are expecting freezing rain, rain, sleet and snow!!! What fun!

I hope you get to Orlando w/ no or minimal delay. Have a great time! Where are you staying if I may ask? Are you onsite or off? For an offsite location, I really liked the Wyndam. I didn't like the rooms very much, but the exterior and grounds of the hotel are beautiful.

Most recent weather report from Indiana: Since 2pm its been either freezing raining or just sprinkling rain here. It will be interesting to see how the roads are once its cold enough for the roads to freeze. Slip sliding awayyyyy. whoa!......whoa! We're supposed to get maybe an inch of snow over night. I'll keep you updated.

Taeja- we stayed off site once I dont even remember where but I dont think I would ever do that again. We always got lost going back!

I've got an Aunt in Altamonte Springs and that side of my family all chipped in to buy me a season pass for my High School graduation in May
So staying on-site makes just as much sense as off, with the Best Rate..

Well so far not as bad as they made it out to be!! Some ice on sidewalks and streets but the city actually used their heads for ONCE and PRE-salted the roads!! CCD-was cancelled for tonight. Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe work wont be that bad tonight! Hopefully the ice and snow will keep everyone home!!!

I think the storm coming from the South missed us. It's now 1:42pm and the sun is actually trying to peek through the clouds. I'm glad this system has missed us. I hope the system will miss you all too. Fingers crossed!

Well it wasnt as bad as they claimed it was going to be! But work wasnt too bad either-I guess people were afraid to venture out, which was find by me and what we did get was nothing bad.

Went to DD Winter Program today at school. The kids were great.
