You guys are so funny Well I officially started subbing this week. I actually got called all week. Working isn't so bad it's the not knowing if you will get called and then being in different buildings all week. It will be fun to get a paycheck again though

I hit a snafu, I still need to get the required physical, TB test, fingerprinting and take the required 6 hour class before I can start.

I'm back.. so sad!

I'm VERY jealous of your Magic cruise, Jan!

And I am jealous of you Patsy, traveling so much at your age! and having been on cruises too.

I did not cruise until I was 50.

I never had the fun of taking little children on a cruise. My kids were 25,28 and 29 when we went last year--wonderful adult friends, but no one to watch have fun in the Mickey pool.

We are at the Radisson sharing Tom's laptop. I did my Bible reading while he checked the newspapers and e-mail and then we switched. We will get him some sunglasses as we both forgot to pack his, eat breakfast, turn in the rental car and get the shuttle to the port. The Port Cam is stuck on a picture from the wee hours of the morning so we are this close and cannot see the MAGIC.

Then a week of retreat--the ocean makes me feel so connected to God, so in awe of His creation and how inconsequential my concerns actually are. I especially get this on sea days when there is no land to be seen. Another thing that "gets" me is that He made lovely fish that would rarely be seen since so few people would go underwater to look. I understand making us lovely birds as we look at the air a lot. But there did not have to be such variety and color in the ocean depths and He did that too. Wow!

And I am jealous of you Patsy, traveling so much at your age! and having been on cruises too.

That is what my parents keep telling me! They're happy I choose to work while I'm in school so that I have these opportunities because they are once-in-a-lifetime and they're very jealous! (They went to France a few weeks ago and I kept gloating that I'd already been there )

Now I have a boyfriend to travel with, too! Woohoo! I'm pretty sure I've got some crazy addiction to him.

Here is a quick picture from my trip with Lindsey-- we were going through all the character lines during extra magic hours at MK and Chip and Dale were quite taken with us. Dale came over and pulled me out of line (Chip was still paying attention to the little girl that had been in front of us, but Dale totally ignored her-- we felt sorta bad!) Then they practically attacked us with hugs and pulling on our arms. It was crazy~

Also, Lindsey and I got lanyard and pin sets from the Dream Team!! We won after we got off the Safari in Animal Kingdom.

Greg came over and spent a few days with us, too. He got some "Magical Moment" cinnamon almond nuts. (They didn't charge us for them!)
Saddest part is it was our last day and the only reason we were getting the nuts was to use the snack credits up!!
